If you need to see a doctor outside of KRMC's operating hours (8.00am - 8.00pm) - and it is not an emergency - you don't need to go to the hospital. Just call our usual Reception number – 8822 3000 - and your call will be directed to Sydney Medical Services who will send a GP to your home. Your regular GP will automatically receive a summary of the care provided, so that he/she can follow up with you the next day.

This service is bulk-billed for Medicare card holders. In all other cases a private fee will apply.

Exposure to the sun’s ultraviolet rays can cause skin damage, which can lead to skin cancer.

The risks are higher during the warmer months and that is why it is
important to have regular skin checks with KRMC’s accredited skin cancer doctors.

Our GPs and Nurses are able to perform excisions of moles that appear to be of concern and to send them for laboratory analysis via our on-sitePathology department. If required, follow up treatment and referrals to specialists can be arranged.

For more information and to make an appointment at KRMCs Skin Cancer Clinic, please call Reception on: 8822 3000.
