Professionalism, these guys have it. When we first arrived at the dock some idiot crashed into the side of their boat. Luckily for us, the crew handled this swimmingly despite some jackass local harassing and trying to start a fight with us tourists (Moron...). After the altercation, we set off with multiple seasick patrons. The crew was attentive and helpful, checking on those without their sea legs frequently. In the water, someone from our group damaged their mask on the night dive. Despite their panic, Shannon (Crew Member) hopped into the water and helped the diver calm down and exit the water. Another crew member came back for her with new mask and a set of snorkel gear, and they escorted her over to observe the Manta Rays. Our Dive Master, Carlos, helped everyone in our group find spots to sit. He also helped to anchor everyone down in strong currents. Overall a great experience, fun crew, and great diving. Would recommend to anyone who is diving in Kona.

We have had great experiences with Jack's Diving Locker over a period of about eleven years. Our kids have participated in Sea Life Camps, have become Open Water Certified, Advanced Open Water, and Rescue Diver Certified, as well as obtaining several Specialty certifications. Our kids have both done internships with Jack's and appreciate all the time and effort that was given by Wendy to make sure they had great learning experiences. We received our Advanced Open Water Certification with Jack's as well. Don't miss going on the Manta Ray Dive/Snorkel. Keller is a fantastic guide and lots of fun. We are always treated great and all the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They have a great selection of gear at their shop. They are very safety oriented, and yet make it all fun. I would absolutely recommend them 100%!

I wanted my 11 year old son to try scuba, we did pool and shore dive one day and two boat dives a few days later. The service was excellent, the staff was professional and friendly, everyone had great time. Highly recommended!

Me and my wife just got back November 12 2013 from 9 days on the Big Island . This was your first time to the big island and i seen that jacks diving locker was not very far from our we went up to check out the store to see what they had to offer. everyone on their staff was so friendly and nice , so i was finding out about about the manta night dive and book it . O man what can i say about this dive it was the best dive ever . The crew was the best and helpfull with all the gear and informing everyone about the dive site . We did a afternoon dive first its was so cool we seen two manta ray all kind s of color full fish and ells . after that dive we took a nice break and the crew sit up your gear for the next dive . Our next dive was night manta ray dive and man what an experience this was sitting on the floor seeing these big 16 feet ray swimming right above you . we end up seen eighteen manta rays on that dive and ells all over the place . If you ever on the Big Island and want to do the best dive ever than look up Jacks Diving Locker the experience you have well be the best dive ever. thank again Darryle

The guides all clearly enjoy their work and make sure everyone is diving within their training and comfort zones. Our group did a pair of two tank dives over our stay. The first was the AM dive where we were able to see a manta, a pod of dolphins, two white tip reef sharks as well as eels and thousands of fish. The Manta night dive was equally spectacular. Mantas in close from the time we descended to the time we got out of the water. The guys are quick to deal with any gear issues and are a fun professional group. Will not book with any dive shop but Jack's on future visits.
