Firstly, you will only find this campsite if you know the address! If you go off Skyline Wilderness Park, google maps puts you in the wrong place. Having said that, this was a great start to our West CA road-trip, everything we could have wanted for our first stop-over. Not a bad word from us, would certainly stay there again - this time hopefully for longer. Many thanks.

Great trails, nice place to camp. Close to town but feels like the country!

If you want to stay in the wine country and save money for your fermented beverages and ever-increasing bridge tolls, Skyline is a good camping choice. I've been here three times. They have more hot water in the shower than many state parks. There's plenty of trails for maintain biking or hiking to Lake Marie. Yes, you'll see lots of deer and birds.

Nice place. I wish there where more trees. We didn't end up staying here but the service from the staff was great. Thanx guys.

My daughter and I had drove all the way from Pismo Beach and were looking to spend a couple nights in the Napa Valley area... It was a beautiful drive -- but a long one and we were tired but saw no campground signs! I asked at Best Western Hotel - and they were full. They recommended this campground but it was after they closed at 7:30 pm or so. We went there anyway and lucked out -- they let us in and we found ample camp spots for our large tent. It was pastoral, saw deer! Nice "garden" to stroll. Whole place was simply lovely and well kept. We felt safe and enjoyed a lovely walk from the tent area through and above for some spectacular vistas. Great experience! Bathroom & Showers were clean & included! I'd say A+.

Good park but the park hours are prohibitive and don't match other parks in the area that don't charge day use fees.
