I'm of Welsh descent. My ancestors landed in the VA/MD area and moved south eventually settling in Alabama.
Introduction
I sing Sacred Harp (FASOLA) music, I am a big University of Alabama Crimson Tide Fan and have been since the 1950's.

I am married to Ruby Coffey Mauldin and we have been together since 1975, We have three children and I have a daughter by a previous marriage.

Beginning in Feb of 1966, I served 21 years and 3 months in the US Army Reserves. My first unit was at Jasper, AL and was an 8" Towed Howitzer Unit. We were reorganized in the 614th MP PLT (HG) in 1969, I transferred to the 87th MAC in Hoover, AL in 1973. After moving to Hattiesburg, MS in 1975 I transferred to C Btry 3/83d FA in Hattiesburg, MS a 155 SP FA unit. First as a Battery Clerk, then a cannon crewman, eventually made Section Chief for a howitzer then assigned as the Special Weapons NCO until I retired in 1987.
I transferred to the Inactive Reserves in 1987 and have 39 years of service - Active and Inactive Retired.

Went by after 8pm to get 2 shakes at 1/2 off as advertised and 2 of the new flatbread sandwiches. Had to drive to window-young lady said couldn't get sandwiches because they had stopped cooking the wraps earlier and they don't honor the 1/2 price after 8 pm deal anymore. That's OK, we don't trade there anymore either and there is a new Wendy's coming soon so we'll spend our money there and at the other fast foods in town.
