Denino's is UNPARALLELED to any other pizza on the island and arguably in NYC. This pizza parlor is literally my "happy place" because the pizza is so crispy and flavorful. In my opinion, the best pies to order are the regular cheese, the garlic pie (no kisses) and my ultimate favorite, the clam pie. If you like scungilli, I recommend the hot and there is no excuse (aside from a shellfish allergy) not to order the fried calamari. (they sometimes have buffalo style calamari which is heavier but also delicious)

Some of the best pizza you'll have anywhere. Down to earth atmosphere and the service is always excellent. What every sit down pizzeria should be.

As per Jon Stewart's recommendation I took a long bus ride and ferry from Manhatten to get to this restaurant. I didn't think it would be completely worth the trip but I did expect excellent pizza, which I didn't get. It may have been our choice of toppings (mostly veggies) but the center crust was completely soggy. Still they should know how to prepare it to avoid this. Second they used canned mushrooms, wholly inappropriate on a fresh pizza. Far worse than Grimaldi, Lombardi's, John's etc. Avoid.

One of the best pizzas you will ever eat. Go early because you will have to wait.

Some of the best pizza in the city, but it's a pain to get to if you or your friends don't have a car. But it is accessible by bus from the ferry, and makes for a fun day trip for those who aren't from Staten Island. Good prices, pitchers of soda, and the waitress was friendly enough. No frills, good food. The calamari was amazing.
