When are Postmodern Jukebox coming to Australia?

The Liberal-National Government is already a postmodern jukebox: big business puts in money, and random stream-of-consciousness crap comes out.

What would happen if we mixed a baboon with a sparrow, or a shark with a spider? We may never find out in the real world, but here is where Photoshop can help. Check out these absolutely horrifying hybrid species as envisioned by artist Sara DeRemer.

Avatar (the good one not the blue people) did some great hybrid animals during the first series.  We've seen far fewer in Korra sadly.

Just a reminder that I will be running Vortex at PAX Aus next weekend.

I could possibly be roped into running something else (Shadewalker) outside the official items I am running.

If you missed the Kickstarter to Torment: Tides of Numenera there is still some time to pledge via their website and PayPal.

If you want something to play whilst you wait for Torment: Tides of Numenera you can always play Wasteland 2 - made by the same company.
In fact, you can add a copy of Wasteland 2 as an add-on to your pledge (if it's not included).

Just a reminder that I am running some Cypher System Games (Numenera and The Strange RPG) at PsyCon two in Sydney (NSW, Australia) this long weekend.  Still plenty of room for people to attend.

Yes, it is a Pathfinder Society convention, but I'm running non-Pathfinder Games as you can see on the schedule.

If you or friends you know in Sydney are looking for something to do, come along.   Pre-Gen characters and explanation of the game system (rules-light) provided.

In the Numenera RPG corebook, there's an example of play with a GM and three players.  The players are Bruce, Clark, and Diana.
In The Strange RPG there's also an example of play with a GM and three players, this time it's Arthur, Lance, and Gwen.
I wonder who the next three will be in the next setting.

I don't normally remember my dreams.  I remember my nightmares but not my dreams.

However, a couple of nights ago I had a dream.  Which I remembered.  And it was a good one.

And I remembered it for a day later.  And I let my subconscious percolate on it.  And it formed from an idea into a realised backbone for a story.  And I even managed to find a way to incorporate it to tell the story (or my version) of how and why humanity disappeared off the Earth for a while.

I need to set time aside to do some writing to formalise this idea and backbone into a story.

+Michael Barry On the drive home from the gaming store I stated writing the first chapter in my mind.

+Anestis Kozakis, that's crazy talk! Dreams are the gate to other dimensions of non-Euclidean, squamous and rugose pandemonium.

Recent issues form certain members of the fan community aside, I plan to run some games online soon, maybe get my campaign up and running again.

But,. as I said, if you know anyone in Sydney let them know. :-)

So, I'm running adventures at PAX Aus.  I have one slot for Numenera.  Each slot is 6 hours.  Give 3 minutes for people to arrive/get organised and 30 minutes for explaining the rules and that leaves 5 hours.

How long does it take for each adventure to run?

Should I run one large adventure (i.e. Vortex) or two smaller adventures?

Suggestions?

I'd rather stick to pre-made at this stage.
