Going to try this again.
I have a spare copy of the leather bound edition of Numenera.
Very rare, pretty good condition (photos can be provided, I have shared them in the past).
Looking at $350 Australian (including shipping). At current exchange rate that's $259.344 US, a bargain.
Payment installments will be considered.

There seems to be no "Trading Post" type of section hence why I am posting in the "Discussion: area.

So, I have two leather-bound Numenera corebooks.  I am at the point where I am willing to sell one of them.

Now, before you faint at the price I am asking, remember that the price is in Australian dollars so use a currency converter if you're outside Australia, and, second, no one else is selling one so I have no comparative price.  For all intents and purposes these are really rare and priceless.

I did see one (only one) on eBay but, in my opinion, very underpriced since the original cost on Kickstarter was $160 U.S.

The book itself is still in very good condition with just some markings on the silver gilding on the page edges due to having travelled with me.

Looking at $350 Australian (that's approx. $252 U.S. as of this writing - http://www.xe.com/currencyconverter/convert/?Amount=350&From=AUD&To=USD).

I'll be will be willing to accept installments with the book shipping on final payment.'

A really weird, really tiny animal — the microscopic tardigrade — is the inspiration behind a new material that could improve the efficiency of things like LED lights to solar cells.

I don't normally remember my dreams.  I remember my nightmares but not my dreams.

However, a couple of nights ago I had a dream.  Which I remembered.  And it was a good one.

And I remembered it for a day later.  And I let my subconscious percolate on it.  And it formed from an idea into a realised backbone for a story.  And I even managed to find a way to incorporate it to tell the story (or my version) of how and why humanity disappeared off the Earth for a while.

I need to set time aside to do some writing to formalise this idea and backbone into a story.

+Anestis Kozakis, that's crazy talk! Dreams are the gate to other dimensions of non-Euclidean, squamous and rugose pandemonium.

So, this arrived Christmas Eve. Haven't had a chance to watch it as had to go interstate for Christmas with the family.

I was just going to inquire about the state of that thing a week or so ago. It was down periscope for a while. I'd love to see it.

What would happen if we mixed a baboon with a sparrow, or a shark with a spider? We may never find out in the real world, but here is where Photoshop can help. Check out these absolutely horrifying hybrid species as envisioned by artist Sara DeRemer.

Avatar (the good one not the blue people) did some great hybrid animals during the first series.  We've seen far fewer in Korra sadly.

Just a reminder that I will be running Vortex at PAX Aus next weekend.

I could possibly be roped into running something else (Shadewalker) outside the official items I am running.
