I stayed at the hotel on business only one night with a prepaid room booked through Orbitz, my job paid for the room. Of course I had to give them my Credit Card to cover incidentals. The Next morning I saw that they charged my card an additional $225.00. I wend down to the front desk to complain and they said they would take care of it. (They sure did) They billed me an additional $243.00 for the room, so far have been charged 468.00 for my prepaid room. I finally got a hold of the manager (Sue) and when she put me on hold the front desk picked up and said that she wasn't available. I had to call corporate and while they said that this would be taken care of it hasn't yet. I have now spent more time trying to get the charges reversed than Iactually stayed at the Hotel.

I stayed at this hotel on 10/6/14. While the hotel was very nice the staff cannot be trusted. I was in the area visiting my extremely ill grandfather at Broward Medical Center. With the stress I was going through I forgot my laptop computer in my room on a table. Later that day I called to notify the staff I had forgotten my computer and that I would be back to pick it up. They told me nobody found a laptop and they would check with housekeeping manager the next day. Well they checked with housekeeping and nobody "found" my computer. I was brushed off like this was no big deal and told there is nothing more they can do for me. I asked to check security cameras and they told me they have none. I just can't believe I stayed at a hotel of this caliber and was ROBBED!!!!! SO BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL!!!!!!!!!!

WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE!! We booked a reservation to this hotel to spend New years eve at ft. lauderdale downtown. We were a family of 8 people, and we got three rooms 2 exectutive king bed room and 1 double bed room, at the moment of the booking the hotel was giving the option of getting the room with full breakfast included for an extra fee, so we all decided to get it, I personally am a very careful person when booking a hotel, and I take my time to see every detail before giving my credit card, on the web said very clearly that the double bed room was coming with 4 full breakfasts, because I put that we were going to be 4 persons in that room, also they specify the word "full breakfast". When we arrive to the hotel, and were doing the check in, the front desk representative which was also the front desk "manager" named Sue Armstrong told us with a bad attitude that the breakfast was only for two persons in the double bed room, that we needed to pay for another two, I explained her that the web said pretty clear that it was for two, anyhow she never gave it to us, so we paid for extra two. She also told us that the self parking was $7.00 pero night, which said also free self parking on the web. Then she gave us instead of the two executive king bed rooms, two standard ones, which I had to complaint about again and she had to correct that for us. After an hour and after a horrible moment during our check in we could finally be in our rooms, the rooms were clean and pretty, I can't complaint about that at all... my complaints are only about the bad service. At the next day, we woke up early and went to have our breakfast and we were told at the restaurant that the voucher card we had were only for continental breakfast, not for full.. so again we went down stairs and spoke to another front desk rep. named Tatiana, I showed her the email the wed sent me specifying the word "FULL BREAKFAST" and I couldn't believe what she told me, she said that for the webpage: "full breakfast means continental breakfast".. I honestly laugh when she said that, that was the stupidest thing she could have said, where is the common sense when saying that to a customer?, please, managers be a little more careful when hiring an employe, at least pick someone who can give a better lies...anyways, I told her I needed to speak to the GM so she called him. We waited for him and when finally he arrived I explained to him how disappointed and disgusted we were as first time customers, they mistake themself from the very beginning giving us and treating us with some nasty attitude and I told him that I used to work as a front desk rep. for many years and I couldn't believe the experience I was having, and now me showing them the written proof that have paid for full breakfast and telling us that stupid answer, continental breakfast is continental breakfast, full breakfast is full breakfast, the name say it by itself. So he understood and apologize and gave us the full breakfast, thank god at least the GM did the correct thing, and just to make myself clear, is not because of the money, is because of the respect us as customer deserve, they cannot offer something and then change it, is not fair, and unfortunately, the general people that experience the same thing they just pay the extra money, or just take whatever they gave us, and the hotel keep doing the incorrect thing to the rest. Just a final note, on the restaurant, there is a server who likes to say he is the manager and treat people with a heavy attitude as well, I dont remember his name, but he is colombian and we find out he wasnt the manager, he is just a lier server.. the rest servers were amazing. THIS IS ONE OF THOSE HOTELS FULL OF LIES AND LOW CLASS CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Small but cozy place. Good homemade salsa. The skirt steak was very good. Since I am staying at the hotel I will go back again tonight.
