The faster the ball goes, the more points you score for each brick cleared. In fact, if you can handle a tiny ball at maximum speed with the smallest paddle, you can earn up to 40 points per brick! But you will have to avoid fireballs, explosives and lasers—those will only earn you 8 points per brick!

Today marks the 15th anniversary for the DX-Ball 2 Music Pack! Announced together with the release of DX-Ball 2 version 1.2, the Music Pack featured 11 handpicked tracks that could now be played back in-game along with the title screen music, thanks to the new in-game music support. The Music Pack has since been merged with the regular DX-Ball 2 installer, following the version 1.3 compatibility update for Windows Vista, back in 2007.

Final Destiny strips the beat!

One of the biggest and baddest tunes of the entire DX-Ball 2 soundtrack—so lush that it makes a perfect techno symphony, even without a single percussion instrument! Have a listen on the new DX-Ball 2 fan blog on Tumblr!

What's your favourite song from the soundtrack?

Do you love the latino techno vibes of Beatwave? Does Elemental or Final Destiny turn your epic on? Or maybe you fancy the playfulness of Ifu Love? Share your thoughts in a comment below!
