A two-floor cocktail lounge appointed with Indian-inspired decor is a popular special-event space.- Google

I can only review Mondays with live salsa bands as this the only reason I make the trek to Taj. The bands are consistently excellent. And the vibe is hoppin! Any place that promotes live music gets high ratings, and one that combines that with quality orchestras and a lively clientele gets max ratings. As for the food and service .. look at other reviews. I go for the music!

This place is the absolute WORST!!! A group of us came from Jersey on a party bus with my cousin for his birthday. Prior to us getting there my cousin had already made arrangements with management and reserved the VIP section, and left his deposit. When we got there it was mad confusion at the door when we should have been able to just show our ID's and walk threw. Well that wasn't the case! We sat out in the cold for like 20 mins to only be told we were not coming in. Of course I was pissed because I really think they sold his spot to the highest bidder already not caring that he had already left his deposit and was gonna pay the remainder balance. They told him if he buy another bottle that they will let him in so he agreed. Well after some more debating with that didn't happen. So now I'm pissed because I feel like no matter how good a business is doing you don't treat customers like crap. And I REFUSE to spend my hard earned money in places with poor management who will kick you to the curb for the highers bidder. So I don't recommend this club for anyone who values their hard working money and want to be treated with respect. After all that hassle we went across the street to the club on the corner, which was also super crowded but we didn't wait in line long and management was very nice so I will go back there again.

Joined a leaving party just after 11 on a Friday night and it was only just starting to get going. Lots of hip-hop, r&b in a simple, funky venue. Kept going until 4am. Table service was popular for birthdays and they're all arranged around the side of a main rectangular room. Good for a booty shaking night out.

Went there last night and was not thrilled. The drinks are average price for the city, but watered down to the max. Vodka cranberry? More like straight cranberry juice and ice. The staff is less than friendly, and the music is excessively loud, to the point where I came outside half deaf with ringing ears. Make sure you pregame if you're gonna come here.

Lmao I literally have to laugh in order to keep myself from cursing in this review. I WILL NEVER EVER .... Go back to this dump ! I went on a Saturday night , a friend of mine and I were celebrating our birthdays here, we got there early as told by a promoter in order to get in for free. We ended up waiting in line , in DECEMBER aka the freezing cold for about an hour and a half to 2 hours ! My hands were numb , my feet started going numb , not to mention we were wearing heels. The only reason we didn't leave was because we had friends meeting us there. When our wait was finally over and we got inside, they charged us $25 dollars, birthday or no birthday we had to pay $25 ! TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS to party in a lounge the size of my living room ! It was over crowded and just terrible ! The music sucked and the security is rude ! They really need to stop advertising this place as a club because it really isn't a club. Its more like just a bar or a really tiny lounge that isn't worth a $25 cover charge. Also as for the promotional team I went through, Showtime Ent. I wouldn't trust them at all ! As long as u mention their names at the door , they get paid but that means NOTHING for you ! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DUMP ! All of the "Great" reviews are definitely fake reviews ! Trust me ! Please ! #Runnnnnnnnn 🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃

Yesterday march 30th i celebrated my birthday with a group of my friends here. i made a guest list prior to this so we can get in free becuase it was so many of us going. you had to be there before 12 to get in free so we arrived at 11 but the joke was on us because they was not letting anyone in. My cousin had recommened me to this lounge and told me they did this on purpose so you would have to pay door cover. But this is not the reason i gave this lounge a poor grade. The staff was so rude that half of my friends left because they were treated bad by security and other workers. I will never come back to this place again. and will advise anyone who wants to come here DON'T unless you like to be mistreated.

Talk about a ripoff!...$20 cover with a mandatory $50 bar fee was not worth the price of admission. Three vodka and cranberries shouldn't amount to $50 even if its Manhattan. The bartender cut me off after my third one saying my $50 runs out after this one. TERRIBLE SPOT. WHAT A RACKET THEY'RE RUNNING!
