We loved the Hotel Monaco! It was in an excellent location, very close to the Inner Harbor and the Mount Vernon area. The room was spacious and had high quality finishes. The bathroom was large, with bright lighting (w dimmer switches) and marble tiles all over. The bed was comfortable, although we expected sheets to be a little softer or thicker. We just turned up the thermostat. The lobby and public spaces are sights to see. Make sure to walk the large marble staircases. The building was a historic old building as a former headquarters of the B&O railroad company. They have a lot of information in the lobby about the history. We've eaten at the restaurant, the B&O American Brasserie, and it's a treat. Comfortable food with a high end flair. I recommend it all very much.

It was of the best experience I've ever had. The hotel was gorgeous. The staff was fantastic. They brought me a fish. The tub was huge and the bed was so comfortable.

Stayed here in a hotel block for a wedding. We received a slight discount because of this and decided to get a spa suite. The bathroom is rich and decadent and the spa tub is wonderful. I would have spent all my time in there if I wasn't so busy! It is a bit strange that you take the elevators in the lobby to the first floor to get to the HOTEL lobby and check in, then get back on the elevator to get to your room. I was upset there was no coffee maker in the room, but upon check out I was told I could have called down to request one be brought to the room - wish that had been mentioned earlier. Check in and check out was very hassle-free. I received an additional charge on my bill a few days later which I called about and asked about the fee. The woman I spoke to did not know why the charge was there and offered to reverse it for me. Valet parking is $38/day, which is insane, so many of the wedding party walked a block and a half and parked in a garage for a fraction of that cost. You will not be able to find parking anywhere so it makes sense to park and walk everywhere.

Good location just a few blocks from the inner harbor and with underground parking a block away. Building is full of character and had a nice lobby. Complimentary coffee and tea in the morning was a nice touch. Bed was comfortable. Only weakness was the water pressure in the shower and lack of ventilation fan in the bathroom.

A terrific hotel with all the service and touches that people have come to expect from a Kimpton. It's located blocks away from the Inner Harbor. Parking is super expensive here. You can find much cheaper parking a few blocks north for the weekend.

The Hotel Monaco is a very nice hotel. Immediately upon walking in you are greeted by extremely nice front doormen who are more than willing to help with your luggage and provide directions. The lobby is beautiful and clean. The checking in process was hassle free and quick, and the front desk clerks were very helpful, providing some suggestions as to what we should do and where we should eat. My room had two queen beds and then another room that had bunk beds, an Xbox 360 and a gamer's chair so it was perfect for my needs. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were amazing! One thing that was neat but not very functional was the bathroom door. It was a sliding door and no lock. The shower entrance is only half covered with a glass pane so that was weird. The location is very central, there are many places to eat and shop all within walking distance or $5 charge for Uber/Lyft. All in all, it was a very good experience and I will definitely stay again.
