Stayed here in a hotel block for a wedding. We received a slight discount because of this and decided to get a spa suite. The bathroom is rich and decadent and the spa tub is wonderful. I would have spent all my time in there if I wasn't so busy! It is a bit strange that you take the elevators in the lobby to the first floor to get to the HOTEL lobby and check in, then get back on the elevator to get to your room. I was upset there was no coffee maker in the room, but upon check out I was told I could have called down to request one be brought to the room - wish that had been mentioned earlier. Check in and check out was very hassle-free. I received an additional charge on my bill a few days later which I called about and asked about the fee. The woman I spoke to did not know why the charge was there and offered to reverse it for me. Valet parking is $38/day, which is insane, so many of the wedding party walked a block and a half and parked in a garage for a fraction of that cost. You will not be able to find parking anywhere so it makes sense to park and walk everywhere.

We came to Baltimore for the weekend for a wedding. The location was central to everything. The waterfront is just down the street with beautiful views and all kinds of places to eat. The hotel itself is beautiful. There rooms are large and comfortable and the staff have all been very friendly. We were even given a goldfish for the weekend. I would recommend it to anyone and we will definetly be back.

Had a mid-week stay here last week. Location - perfect (aside from ongoing construction). I think if you are going to market your location as "UPSCALE" - certain services should be a given. Guest services representative casually handed us the luggage rack, not asking if he could lend a hand to three women. Staff won't make eye contact or greet the guest first - hmmmm - that's different!!! But, when it's time to check out - smiles everywhere....."UPSCALE" UPSCALE - why is the upholstery & carpet in the suite dirty - and visible? Why is there no microwave in the room - (eat in the hotel restaurant) - what if I order room service and would like to reheat my plate? Why is this tiny fridge stocked with overpriced items and have no room for me to put anything in it? Why is there linen for two guests only, when you know there are three guests - especially by day two, when you have seen us? Glad you allow pets - scared to see a room where a pet has stayed.

The Hotel Monaco is a very nice hotel. Immediately upon walking in you are greeted by extremely nice front doormen who are more than willing to help with your luggage and provide directions. The lobby is beautiful and clean. The checking in process was hassle free and quick, and the front desk clerks were very helpful, providing some suggestions as to what we should do and where we should eat. My room had two queen beds and then another room that had bunk beds, an Xbox 360 and a gamer's chair so it was perfect for my needs. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were amazing! One thing that was neat but not very functional was the bathroom door. It was a sliding door and no lock. The shower entrance is only half covered with a glass pane so that was weird. The location is very central, there are many places to eat and shop all within walking distance or $5 charge for Uber/Lyft. All in all, it was a very good experience and I will definitely stay again.

Quite a nice hotel. Rooms are clean and well done, coffee in the lobby in the mornings. One weird thing is that the rooms don't have a coffee maker. Would definitely stay again.
