Introduction
Millsaps College is a privately supported national liberal arts college founded by members of the Methodist Church in 1890. Millsaps is a selective undergraduate institution located on 100 beautiful acres in the heart of Jackson, the capital of Mississippi, a progressive southern metropolitan city of nearly half a million population.

Our Mission

Millsaps College is dedicated to academic excellence, to open inquiry and free expression, to the exploration of faith to inform vocation, and to the innovative shaping of the social, economic, and cultural progress of our region.

Academic Excellence

In keeping with its character as a liberal arts college and its historic role in the mission of the United Methodist Church, Millsaps College seeks to provide a learning environment that increases knowledge, deepens understanding of faith, and inspires the development of mature citizens with the intellectual capacities, ethical principles, and sense of responsibility that are needed for leadership in all sectors of society. Our academic programs are designed with these goals in mind.

Else School of Management

Millsaps offers the Master of Business Administration and Master of Accountancy through the Else School of Management. In 2011, the Else School launched Mississippi's first Executive MBA Program for professionals who have experience to build on. The management school is accredited by AACSB International (The Assocation to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).

Accolades and Awards

Consistently ranked as one of the best values in higher education, Millsaps has been praised by Colleges That Change Lives, The Princeton Review, Kiplingers Personal Finance Magazine, the John Templeton Foundation, The Fiske Guide to Colleges, and Insight Magazine.
