Service-I’ve been dealing with Pete in service for 8 years. He’s like a good mechanic. You find one, you keep him. I never feel like I am being taken advantage when I get my vehicle serviced there. If I don’t have a coupon, he will look around for one. Money is important. Sales-Since I live in Poway, I wanted to buy in Poway, but wouldn’t allow myself to get ripped off either. I dealt with Gary in their Internet sales department. I quoted him the price that the USAA buying service was offering me (Which I felt was reasonable after researching everything). He met it and also gave me what I expected for my trade-ins. Never thought he was trying to pull a fast one over me. After the fact sales- The day after we bought the new vehicle, we decided that we didn’t want the hondacare warranty (You can find them $400 cheaper online, BTW). Went in, told them we wanted it taken off and without any kind of push to keep it on, took it off and gave us our money back with a smile. Overall, Poway Honda is a great dealership with services and sales. Sure, others might differ with their opinion but for us, they get 5 stars.

I had a $10 reward coupon to use. The stylist could not find it in the system. This was when I found out I was being charged extra for a blow dry and style on my daughter. The stylist had asked if it was okay to blow dry her hair, but didn't say it would cost more and didn't mention anything about styling it. After several minutes and asking for the help of 2 other stylists, I suggested that I just be charged the $21.99 amount which included cut, blow dry and style. The balance after the $10 reward discount should have been $11.99. She couldn't get the computer to accept it saying there was a message that it didn't meet the minimum cost. I ended up paying $16.99 in cash, plus the tip. It was though I never had a reward coupon. Not sure I will be back since I paid far more than I expected to and was charged for services I had not been told would cost extra.
