Our friends at the Green Mountain Mahler Festival raised $7000 for the Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program in their annual New Year's Day benefit concert! Great job!
Video of the +Green Mountain Mahler Festival  New Year's Day benefit performance of Beethoven's Ninth that raised $7000 for the Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program. We  did a repeat performance the next day a different venue (with which proceeds were split) that brought in enough to cover our expenses so that we can donate essentially all gross proceeds from the benefit concert. We will be presenting them a check next week. I haven't watched the video all the way through yet, so I don't know if there are any closeups of me in the orchestra, but you will definitely hear me in the horn section.
