As we mentioned last week, we’re proud to have Dr. Eierle join the OCSF staff in exactly 8 days!

Did you know that prior to joining #OCSF, Dr. Eierle served the Navy for 24 years that included multiple operational deployments, overseas tours, and a combat surgical tour in #Iraq?

If there is a doctor ready for anything, it’s Dr. Eierle!

May is National Osteoporosis Month!

Osteoporosis is a disease makes your bones weak and more likely to break. Approximately 9 million Americans have osteoporosis and another 43 million have low bone density which places them at a greater risk. Osteoporosis is most common in older women, but anyone can develop the disease.

Sadly, there is no cure for osteoporosis. However, diet (especially calcium and vitamin D rich diets), exercise, and a healthy lifestyle are keys to preventing and managing the disease.
