I'm behind in my promise to explain what happened to my husband recently. I find myself with a quiet evening, and thought I would keep my word and post about it :) I really appreciate your heartfelt love and prayers for us!

I told you all last month that I would post about what happened with my husband in December.  I’ve found myself with some quiet time this evening, so I thought this would be a good time to do so. It all began the week between Thanksgiving and December. …

Fresh on the blog is our February Scripture Writing Plan. I decided to go a different route from the “love” theme usually don in February. This time the theme is, “confidence and self worth” as it’s been the topic of conversation in the Facebook group lately. I hope you find it helpful!

I went without the “Love” theme for the scripture writing challenge, but for those Valentine’s Day die-hard doodlers, I thought I’d keep the theme for our doodles 🙂 This challenge is participated in by the members of my Facebook group, Christian Planner,…

Our Scripture Writing Plan for January 2019 just went up on the blog :)

I plan on writing a more detailed post soon, but in a nutshell, my husband took a tumble and hit his knee in our backyard. Four days later he couldn't walk or even stand up. I got him to the Cleveland Clinic ER where his white blood cell count was very high indicating infection. They did a knee tap (removed a big tube of fluid from his knee) and tested that and it came back indicating sepsis. He was in the Cleveland Clinic for 2 weeks hallucinating and fighting infection. Now he's been in a nursing home for the past week recovering with physical therapy and also having IV antibiotic treatment. His mind is back to normal after a week and a half of delusions and just a mess. He is looking and behaving better now and is slowly taking a few steps with a walker to the bathroom and back to his bed. I don't know when he'll be able to come home. I'm hoping his doctor's appointment on January 7th will say he can come home. I'd appreciate your prayers that that will be the case!

I must apologize for my lack of content this month.  There’s been a family emergency that’s kept my attention the entire month of December 😦  God is so good and has gotten us through it though. He is so faithful! I plan on writing a more detailed post…
