Great little joint. The owner is really helpful when you show up and stare blankly at the menu. There is no Pho but some similar rice noodle soups. She serves a larger Vietnamese menu on Wednesdays and Sundays. The menu on other days leans more towards greasy, counter service Chinese (but I'm sure it's great too).

Great food and great service from family operation. Best to take out. In location facilities are very spartan.

This place has a vegetarian special on Wednesdays and Saturdays that's really yummy, filling, and very reasonably priced. There isn't much seating, and it's been full every time I've been (only on Saturday), so I've gotten take-out. This doesn't hurt my feelings, though, 'cause the place isn't really pretty to look at. I recommend Saturday take-out for lunch :)

The Vegetarian Plate (vegan, I believe) is only available on Wednesday and Saturday, but it's amazing and seemingly a huge seller. It has a very smoky flavor to it which is really interesting. Would love to see expanded vegetarian/vegan availability and choices here!

I'm nuts about the vegetarian special served on Wednesdays and Saturdays! Although of course their food is awesome on any day of the week. I had bok choy and broccoli with tofu the other day. So delicious! The staff are nice too. Just remember to bring cash because they don't take cards.

Like many others, I've only experienced the Vietnamese specials on Wednesdays and Saturdays, but I've gotta say the food was very good for extremely reasonable prices. As with most 9th street spots, it's lacking in atmosphere being a hole-in-the-wall in need of an update, but the food quality makes it worth a stop for sure.
