We all make choices, but in the end our choices make us.  Realize that you are only destined to become one person – the person you choose to be in this moment.  Do good and feel good.  Do bad and feel bad.  It’s that simple.  So don’t be afraid to make necessary changes and start over.  Right now is a brand new opportunity to choose differently and build what you truly want. - via:

The same way your body responds to the right nutrients, your heart, mind and spirit also need nourishment.  You are able to get that nourishment when you indulge in meaningful work, because when you truly lose yourself in something that moves you, you will eventually find yourself there too.

So never let the reality of what is, get in the way of what is possible.  Never give up on the things that make your heart skip a beat.  A focused human being driven by passion is always more powerful than the reality of the moment.  Express your love.  Live your truth.  Share your enthusiasm. Take action towards meaningful goals.  Walk your talk.  Embrace your gifts.  Bounce to the beat of your own drum.  Work on something worth remembering. - via:

Life’s best lessons are usually learned at the worst times and from the worst mistakes.  So yes, you will fail sometimes.  The faster you accept this, the faster you can get on with being brilliant. You’ll never be 100% sure it will work, but you can always be 100% sure doing nothing won’t work.  Doing something and getting it wrong is at least ten times more productive than doing nothing.  So get out there and try!  Either you succeed or you learn a vital lesson.  Win–Win. - via: http://www.marcandangel.com/2012/02/16/10-good-reminders-for-stressful-times/

Everything in life has to come to an end sometime.  It’s important to acknowledge and accept the end of an era – to walk away sensibly when something has reached its conclusion.

Closing the door, turning the page, moving on, etc.  It doesn’t matter what you call it; what matters is that you leave the past where it belongs so you can enjoy the life that’s still available to be lived.  This ending is not THE END, it’s just your life beginning again in a new way.  It’s a point in your story where one chapter fades into the next.  Take a look at the first page of this new chapter; it’s a beautiful one. - via:

We rarely lose friends and lovers, we just gradually figure out who our real ones are. So when people walk away from you, let them go. Your destiny is never tied to anyone who leaves you. It doesn’t mean they are bad people; it just means that their part in your story is over. - via: http://www.marcandangel.com/2012/04/23/15-things-real-friends-do-differently/

Accept your flaws. Admit your mistakes. Don’t hide and don’t lie. Deal with the truth, learn the lessons, endure the consequences of reality, and move on. Your truth won’t penalize you. The mistakes won’t hurt you. The denial and cover-up will. Flawed and vulnerable people are beautiful and likable. Liars and phonies are not. Every beautiful human being is made entirely of flaws, stitched together with good intentions and finished with unique edges. - via:

Whoever said revenge is sweet never tasted the sweetness of forgiveness.  Leave enough room in your heart to forgive those that deserve another chance.  Sometimes people make terrible mistakes and learn from them; and sometimes relationships temporarily split only to reunite twice as strong as they were before. - via: http://www.marcandangel.com/2012/11/07/10-critical-questions-you-must-ask-yourself/

It doesn’t matter if you’ve failed or if you’ve been beaten. All that matters is that you learn something, get back up, and try again. Because winning is a good feeling, but winning when nobody else thought you could is an awesome feeling. - via: http://www.marcandangel.com/2012/05/11/101-timeless-lessons/

All 18 points are excellent.

The number one thing I persistently see holding smart people back is their own reluctance to take action with the knowledge they already have. In other words, they believe they require additional knowledge, skill, experience, etc. before they can aptly partake in an opportunity. Yes, more knowledge is great to have, but without action it doesn’t get you anywhere. You’ve got to take baby steps. You’ve got to act on what you know. Remember, the acquisition of knowledge doesn’t mean you’re growing; growing happens when what you know changes how you live. - via: http://www.marcandangel.com/2012/03/22/18-truths-to-start-telling-yourself/
