A nice rooftop bar and beer garden where you will extremely thankful to get off the cramped and exceptionally slow elevator. This area of the city seems to attract a good number of European hostel stayers, and the crowd here seemed to reflect it on a Friday night. Make sure you are in the right line for the elevator as the bar and restaurant for the hotel are next to each other and have different lines. It took forever to get up, but the open space was refreshing and nice. You don't get high enough to have an exceptional view of the city, but you do get fresh air and a nice green space. The bar is pretty expansive though the line for drinks moves a bit slow as people are on their own time from the hotel. The beer menu was ok, but nothing spectacular.

Gorgeous outdoor garden bar. String lights illuminate the flowers and greenery. Innovative cocktails make you want to try them all.

Easily one of the best rooftop bars in NYC. The setting is very unique as can be expected considering the venue housed beneath it. It looks quite like an overgrown old rail station. They have a nice selection of beers and very unique mixed drinks. They offer a great brunch on Sundays. The punch bowls are definitely a good go-to if you've got a group.

This rooftop bar is an extension of The Heath, located just a floor below. The drinks are good, but expensive. Same goes for the food. It can get very crowded, so be sure to either come early or make a reservation. It's a great place to come before or after Sleep No More, but also stands on its own.

Great rooftop bar! It is very cute, with lots of greenery, tons of seating, table service and walk up bar. The view is decent and the vibe is great. I love their music. The cocktails are delicious but very pricey ($17 each).

I really loved my experience here. I came after Sleep No More, around 1030 pm on a Thursday, and we were able to order food before the kitchen closed. They also gave out blankets! I thought this was super good because it was a really cold night.. I would say come for the drinks, and not the food. The portions are small and heavy with oil. The drinks are pretty watery but very tasty! And it's a great way to talk about going to Sleep No More.

Gallow Green is a beautiful rooftop terrace with a dreamy atmosphere. You get marvellous views of the city that never sleeps, which is just amazing! They have an extensive cocktail menu with quite quirky combinations. It's not a cheap place, but what would you expect from a rooftop bar in Manhattan? Cocktails are about 15 dollars a piece and they're not too big either, but I didn't mind as it's not every day that I find myself in such a cool place. I ordered steak skewers as a snack and good job I wasn't that hungry, because they were tiny. They were delicious, don't get me wrong, but it was literally what it said on the menu: 'steak skewers' and nothing else. The next time I visit NYC I would definitely go back though!

The place is great, one of the better rooftops in new york. The restaurant service is attentive and kind. Unfortunately i had my coat left behind at coat check and called several times to verify if it is still there and they would always have an excuse as to why they couldn't check, but said they would get back to me. Fast forward 2 months later, i finally was back in town to be able to pick it up in person after no hearing back ever, and they tell me they don't have there. Awful, especially considering they didn't even try to correct, or offer any consolation.
