Most of the universe simply is without wondering whether it is doing it right.

I would not consider this post theistic - most of the universe does not wonder because it cannot think. You are right that we can reach higher. I prefer to err on the side of acceptance rather than silence, so I will re-post compatible content shared with the page - yours is just as welcome. (Martin Berka,

The World Pantheist Movement is deeply saddened by the massacre in Orlando. We extend our condolences to the LGBT community and our best wishes to our community's members in the area.

Religion cannot justify violence or intolerance. We reiterate our belief in the equal, inestimable value of all people and the dignity of all life, and call for all forms of spirituality to be universally accepting of human diversity.

Please share your thoughts or stories on these themes.

I have found church buildings ironic in that materia is used to make institutions whose purpose is to deny the material.
I would rather not declare that we are right and others are wrong on a cosmic level. However, in practice, Nature is never offended, but always responds.

Revering the Universe - Caring for Nature - Celebrating Life
Pantheists revere and care for Nature, we accept this life as our only life, and this earth as our only paradise, if we look after it. We revel in the beauty of Nature and the night sky, and are full of wonder at their mystery and power. The World Pantheist Movement represents a naturalistic approach to pantheism. Our beliefs and values embody the following basic principles:
  • Reverence, awe, wonder and a feeling of belonging to Nature and the wider Universe.
  • Respect and active care for the rights of all humans and other living beings.
  • Celebration or our lives in our bodies on this beautiful earth as a joy and a privilege.
  • Strong naturalism - without belief in supernatural realms, afterlives, beings or forces.
  • Respect for reason, evidence and the scientific method as our best ways of understanding nature and the Universe.
  • Promotion of religious tolerance, freedom of religion and complete separation of state and religion.
The World Pantheist Movement exists to promote these beliefs and values, to make earth-honoring life-affirming naturalistic beliefs widely available as a spiritual option and a rational alternative to traditional religions, to facilitate networking among reverent naturalists, and to encourage formation of local groups.
