Love your delicate coloring of that image, and the equally pretty card, Debby. I'm a new subscriber (as of probably a couple of weeks ago), and always look forward to your videos now. I was curious if you found a difference between using the markers directly on the watercolor paper versus scribbling them on the acrylic block & picking up the color with your paintbrush? Just wondering why you used both methods. Thanks so much for sharing this! :)

Kristina, I love the soft look of your card. That inked background is just dreamy, and I love that little owl. So cute, but not saccharine, if you know what I mean. Kind of an elegant cuteness. Thanks so much for sharing this! :)

Rainbow Hello
The Lawnscaping Challenge Blog's current theme is "Color Inspired by the Rainbow." I couldn't decide on any one color, so I just created a rainbow! I began by die cutting a piece of 140 lb. watercolor paper with the largest of Lawn Fawn's "Small Stitched Re...

Love the colors you used on the solid butterfly, and how you echoed the Cracked Pistachio in the overlay. Tfs!

Loved watching you color. I just got the 36 color set of these markers. I did Jennifer McGuire's trick of coloring on watercolor paper, blending with a bit of water, then punching a dot from that swatch. I glued the dot on the top of the cap of each corresponding marker, and then colored the full strength over half the dot, so I can see what the color looks like full strength and diluted. That's about all I've done with them so far, though! I'm glad you left your "oopses" in your video, since I like to see the whole process. Helps with knowing what to do & not do. Thanks so much for sharing this!

This is the second time I've seen a video on this card, and I still don't see how it works out! I guess I'll just have to make one to find out. Darn. LOL Thanks so much for sharing such an easy-to-follow tutorial, Dawn!

I called a few other tree services before finding Arbor Tex. I guess business for most of the others must be pretty good, because only one called back, and that one unfortunately did not service our town. I finally found Arbor Tex, called, and the guy called back the next day. (They'd been on a job in an area with poor cell service, hence the delay in returning my call.) They came out, gave an estimate that we agreed upon, and said they could do the job a couple of days later when they would be in the area again. They took down one tree that had fallen, and trimmed large overhanging limbs on a couple more. It took the crew way less time than I'd expected. They removed everything they cut down, & even hauled off another piece of a limb that had fallen previously. Overall, I was very satisfied, and would highly recommend them!
