Great idea, Jennifer! I thought the green letters are especially appropriate for baseball, since they have a grassy look to them. Putting this on my craft techniques board!

Love this picture, Sandy! I'm glad you pointed out about the eyebrows. Another card maker used that same bird stamp on a belated birthday card, because the bird looked sad. Call me crazy, but I felt so sorry for that poor birdie, who had missed the party, that I cried! (I suffer from major depression anyway, so I guess I'm prone to such weirdness.) So I'm glad you made her a happy birdie! Love the coloring on this. I upgraded to the 72-color set of Inktense pencils from the 12, and have never regretted that. They are amazing, aren't they? Anyway, thanks so much for sharing your artwork!

Such a pretty card! I'm sure your grandmother loved it. When you first stuck the flower die cuts to the washi tape, I immediately thought they look like feet! :) Love your coloring, and how the purples you chose for the flowers complement the yellow patterned paper. Tfs!

Happy Mother's Day, Mama!
Amid all the flurry of making cards for Operation Write Home & Send a Smile 4 Kids , I took some time out to make 2 cards for my mom--one from me (and our 3 cats), and one from my brother & his wife. I used the "Birds & Roses" digital stamp by Sweet 'n Sass...

LOVE this card, Nichol! Great colors, and the balloons & greeting really do pop against that blue background. Tfs!

Tara, your cards are wonderful! Love how you used basic punches to create so many of your designs. My favorites, though, are the ones with the kitty cat and the box. I am SOOOO much a cat person--"mom" to 3 of our own! :) I generally make each card different. I guess I get bored too easily. I've done mass-production, and I'm not sure Hell could be any worse! LOL Sandy, I'm sorry you've been having a tough time with OWH shutting down. I hope people aren't being very mean. I'm sure there are mixed feelings with everyone, but no one should be taking it out on you! There--I've said my piece. You done good, Sandy--always keep that in mind! And I'm sure you will continue to do good, too! :) Take care!

Such a cool, awesome shaker card! Love the Distress ink colors you chose for your frame. The only thing I don't care for is the black cupcake. I just think it's too stark. But that's just my personal opinion, of course! Thanks so much for sharing this!

Love this card, Paulina! I'm with the other commenters, in that I don't care for the white background. I just think it creates too much glare, and makes it harder to see things in the video, especially if you are doing something with white cardstock. I would at least keep the craft mat down, or even a darker-colored cutting mat. I agree with Tammy Mohr, in that if there is something special or a technique, I'd leave it in, and do it in real time. Otherwise, either edit it out or speed through it. Otherwise, I would love to see more videos from you. Btw, when you were doing your watercoloring on this card, I believe it's actually harmful to the Distress ink pads to touch the wet brush directly to the pad. It's better to smoosh (technical term--LOL) the ink on your craft mat or an acrylic block, then pick it up from there. Hope this feedback helps. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful talents!

Your card is so sweet! :) Love that doughnut image, and the "recycling" of the foil by die cutting it & placing it behind your greeting tag. Neat idea! Thanks so much for sharing your gifts, Laura!

I think, for such a fine line, detailed image like this, the crisp look is better. I like watercolor-y, but not for something like this. Love the colors you used. Tfs!

I called a few other tree services before finding Arbor Tex. I guess business for most of the others must be pretty good, because only one called back, and that one unfortunately did not service our town. I finally found Arbor Tex, called, and the guy called back the next day. (They'd been on a job in an area with poor cell service, hence the delay in returning my call.) They came out, gave an estimate that we agreed upon, and said they could do the job a couple of days later when they would be in the area again. They took down one tree that had fallen, and trimmed large overhanging limbs on a couple more. It took the crew way less time than I'd expected. They removed everything they cut down, & even hauled off another piece of a limb that had fallen previously. Overall, I was very satisfied, and would highly recommend them!
