Bit of Kindness

Silver Bells
The challenge at Merry Monday this week has been to use Blue, Gold, and Silver/White on your card. I must admit, I struggled with this a bit. I know silver & gold can be used together, but there's just something about it that seems a bit off to me. But I th...

Happy Birthday to You
The challenge on Day 3 of My Favorite Things Camp Create (Session 2) is "Inlaid Made Easy." I must admit, my first attempt at die cut inlay for this project was anything BUT easy! I think I just got a little too ambitious, having layers of lots of balloons....

Hi
The theme for Day 1 of My Favorite Things' Camp Create (Session 2) is "Fantastic Foiling."  While foiling is not necessary to participate (the challenge is to use something shiny), I decided to get out my too-little-used Minc Mini machine and do some foilin...

I called a few other tree services before finding Arbor Tex. I guess business for most of the others must be pretty good, because only one called back, and that one unfortunately did not service our town. I finally found Arbor Tex, called, and the guy called back the next day. (They'd been on a job in an area with poor cell service, hence the delay in returning my call.) They came out, gave an estimate that we agreed upon, and said they could do the job a couple of days later when they would be in the area again. They took down one tree that had fallen, and trimmed large overhanging limbs on a couple more. It took the crew way less time than I'd expected. They removed everything they cut down, & even hauled off another piece of a limb that had fallen previously. Overall, I was very satisfied, and would highly recommend them!
