Vegetarian everything, so great if you're so inclined. Very fresh, nice staff, tasty, good value too. Go there for a brunch, just avoid the fake meat as the vegetables are really tasty.

Good food, DISMAL service. On several occasions, the kitchen staff has "forgotten" to make my order and there are mistakes about 90% of the time. When they make a mistake, they don't try to fix it and the customer is still responsible for purchasing the sides / ingredients that they forgot. Such a shame given the otherwise great food and atmosphere.

Amazing vegetarian restaurant where all the food is excellent and the counter service is really friendly. I'm an omnivore but the food is simply great for everyone, don't get put off by the "vegetarian" part. Nice cozy interior, but it can get quite busy on the weekend with you needing to wait for a table. One of my favorite places, if I lived closer I'd go all the time.

Went here for the first time today and let me tell you... what an awesome surprise it was. Of all the vegan friendly restaurants I have visited in CT (and even those that are strictly vegan) this is by far the best. Vast selection, awesome taste and unbeatable prices. Thank you for also baking awesome vegan desserts, you really need to try their chocolate vegan cake! (I am a chocoholic and it pass my strict standard of quality). One thing I must say is, although their employees are pretty busy, they are super nice, even to those customers who are nasty and way out of line. While I was there a woman was super rude to the girl behind the counter stating that the pizza they served is too hot and the cheese "slides off"... which, as anyone with minimal common sense knows, is a RIDICULOUS complain. The girl behind the counter apologized to this obnoxious person even when it was obvious that there was no reason to complain, and she even prepared a new pizza for her. Conclusion: loving this place and will be coming back!

Dear Sofia, You certainly know how to make a day shine! Thank you for sharing your kind and thoughtful comments. We work hard to bring the best food we can to our community, and to support the needs of those who have been given less than us. Luckily and thankfully, we have way more wonderful people like you and very, very few unkind people who come to us. That works for us:-) #blessingsabound #inthistogether #youmatter

Whether you're in the mood for savory or sweet, the vegan, gluten free selection is varied and delicious. Head over for a delicious lunch! Also the cakes are the best in town - carrot cake is great for graduation.

My first visit was in the early 80's - not sure exactly 1981 or 1982, but I was a freshman at Yale. My most recent visit was in May 2015 - still awesome. Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting tasted just as good as it did 35 years ago. There aren't many places that stack up to your memories. Claire's is one of them. Loved going with my classmates from class of 1985. One of my favorite memories from reunions.
