I prefix my variables with their type!
Why 'Systems Hungarian' makes sense. As a developer, if you prefix the variable type you are clearly in the minority - I for one am a propoment of Systems Hungarian and belong to that group myself. The merrits become apparent when reading other people's cod...

I would not recommend this service, I was in the process consolidating my car + home insurances and using online quoting services to review my options. This resulted in my quote being handled by this business. The initial call with Alan Bronskill was professional, however the call back was not. The home square footage numbers I used were inaccurate and I believe this resulted in Alan being confrontational, interruptive, and dismissive. Two things that stands out in my memory is being interrupted when I said I've been at this for 4 days so I really need to compare apples - to - apples and being told that he has been at this for 35 years and won't cut me a cheque if the replacement value is wrong, and hearing laugher just before the disconnection of the call. However I felt the call was salvaged and at least I was going to receive a quote based on new square footage for the company I was interested in. But after this call I contacted my current insurance company and did confirm my replacement cost (square footage) was now higher and actually worked out new car + home coverage with them. So I reached to Alan to update and diffuse any negativity with him and the email responses received back and the subsequent apparent ignoring of my calls, and never actually getting a quote is the reason for this review. -------- From: Daniel Sokolowski Sent: Monday, February 11, 2013 12:49 PM To: Alan Bronskill Subject: Re: home insurance quotation Hi Alan, I sincerely apologize for my tone today on the phone - no disrespect was meant. I just called my company and they told they have the replacement value at $340K so I was working of wrong numbers. Regardless, I was able to get a satisfactorily quote from them for car insurance + home insurance so I no longer need a quote from you. Thank you for your time - Daniel. -From Alan 11/02/2013 3:17PM- Too late! -From Me 11/02/2013 3:19 PM- Please clarify your response. -From Alan 11/02/2013 3:21PM- I have done the quotation! -From Me 11/02/2013 3:25PM- Ok, no point of me not to consider it at least then, feel free to email to me, or call - 613-XXX-XXXX - whatever is easier. Thanks.
