Fine dining restaurant. Good service. and great food - been at least 4 times. Would recommend using groupon if you're on a tight budget or going during winter or summerlicious

Where do I start!! ! Had a reservation and it was for 5 ppl, we got there and the hostess put us right by the door , let me throw in that it was like -15 outside.. when there was so many other places to put us but she put us by the door. Let me continue , then we got moved to another table as we asked politely but I realized how big the booths were that I politely asked one more time to sit in the booth before everyone sat down. The hostess girl shut me down saying it only seats 4 .there's 5 of us females that aren't big at all . I told her we rather sit there. Instead of saying yes sure no problem. She said okay well I'm going to have reset the cutlery and the plates..... so finally we are seated and the waiter takes our orders , I have nothing to say bad about him he was great. When we got our food there was an obvious disproportion that was served. Out of the 5 people at that the table 1 of us got the less amount of food and the steak was not cooked to her request. The pasta that was served was filled , as well as the lamb and the ribs but the marinated flat iron steak was this thin slice of steak no bigger then a skinny remote control , like I mean not even as thick as or long as a rogers remote. Like what the F*** is that s**t . Then the mash potatoes was served into a ball was as small as a tennis ball and I'm not even lying and to finish it off like 2 thin slices of zucchini and red peppers. Oh yeah I can't forget that there was no butter or what ever is suppose to go on top of the steak as I seen pictures that was tagged to the restaurant on Instagram and the marinated flat iron steak was the worst plated meal I've ever seen in my life. All of the pictures that I seen of the marinated flat iron steak plate was filled. And I'm a foodie , I go to alot of resturants and this is the worst . Its been two days since I've been there and I was debating writing this review but going through pictures that's was tagged to the resturant I was just disgusted that the people in the back thought severing that dish barely filled was right. How does that look when 1 person finished their plate first before everyone else . I've been to alot of resturants in my time and I for sure will not go back to this location ever again . Not even sure if I'll go to any of their locations. I bet the head office wouldn't be happy about this review . That was the worst birthday dinner I ever had. If people ask me how I feel about this restaurant I'll be sure to tell them my experience and what type of food you are serving. I would love to know why all of this was done. I bet the hostess told the people in the back to give the girl who ask to be moved to another booth less food. People beware when u ask to go to another table, they might stiff you on your food and u have to pay $40 to $50 . -Sincerely a very pissed off customer!!!!

They finally got rid of the rude hostess and manager and the service is excellent again. My wife and I have been coming to this place for years to enjoy the food and wine.

I went to Wildfire last night with my husband and two children. Let me start by saying we have been to Wildfire many, many times the past several years, more than 7 times. It has always been our family favourite. Our expectation when we go here is great food, steak cooked to perfection and amazing service. We went last night for my husband's birthday. We thought we would get a meal to remember, but we were sadly disappointed. I kept on apologizing to my husband for taking him there. I am used to someone greeting us when we enter, and holding the door open. No one was at the front desk.We waited for her to come back and acknowledge us. We were seat, and our waitress was okay, in the past we had Keith who was phenomenal. I had purchased a Groupon for two with alcohol. In the past, we were able to get a cocktail (a martini), but we were not allowed this time. I noticed many of the waiters were fairly new, but didn't think anything of it. We gave our order and my husband and I had ordered steaks medium well as this is our meal EVERY TIME we go to Wildfire. They both came well done and to my impression smaller, not as good a quality as previous steaks. This is the first time in all the many times we have been to Wildfire that we had to return our food. The waitress came, and seemed to go on saying what it means to have steaks medium well, and how it should look. Then she looked at our steak and agreed it was over cooked. She actually asked us if we wanted a new steak...?? Of course we wanted a new steak! Then she took our steak away while we ate the rest of our meal (veg and mash potatoes/fries). Even the mash potatoes which I usually love, seemed blah. When the steak came eventually 15 minutes later, we were done our sides, so ate the steak alone. Sure she apologized, but the experience was gone. The waitress disappeared, only came once to fill our glasses with wine and water. Someone else came by eventually because our waitress was busy. They were nice enough to bring a cheesecake for my husband with a sparkler on it, but had brought a wrong dessert for my son. So in the confusion of having all the desserts brought at the same time...the birthday surprise was lost. The waitress never came back, another person took our bill. We had purchased a groupon, but ended up buying over $100 worth of other things on the menu. It wasn't like this meal was cheap because the groupon also cost $98! I asked the Server who gave us our bill (btw different person), "Is the management different? Things have changed." He said "No it hasn't changed" I said it is very obviously different, and not in a good way. We left and usually they say "bye, thank you for coming" when we leave and open the door, but not at this time. My husband and I won't be going back anytime soon. Wildfire is definitely not to the calibre we were used to.

I normally don't post reviews but I was quite disappointed with how the manager treated my husband and I. We booked a private room with about 18 guests Saturday, April 18th 2015 for dinner around 6PM. The food was delicious but there was an issue when we asked for the bill. They told me that they only could put all 18 guests on ONE bill and that this was there policy when booking the private room. I advised them that this was our wedding night and all of my guests were prepared to pay for their separate bills and I have no intention on paying for everyone's meal. I would have understood this if I was advised this when I called to book the reservation but no one EVER told us this 'policy' and if that were the case we would have never booked the reservation. I asked to speak to the manager and all he said was "Sorry, this is our policy" in a rude tone. My guests and I sat there in confusion for 20 minutes not knowing what to do which made the situation very awkward and not the most positive experience considering it was my wedding night. The best part of the whole experience was the steak and the greeters at the door who were very friendly. This place needs a new manager! Better ask about all their policies before booking a reservation!! Very bad customer service. We never received any apology.

Ive been to most steakhouses in Toronto..I can say that the food is average at best and the wait time was just out of control...although they did help us with a cut off the bill, a whole bunch other things could have been addressed earlier (maybe try refilling our bread, free apps, even dessert, or filling my empty coke that was finished an hr w/o food) ...I have had keg screw up like this, but every time they have come up to the plate and redeemed themselves.....I felt like the table was being avoided like a plague. I won't be coming back.

Definitely a place you want to go for great service, great food and a great time. I've been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years and still have yet to have a bad experience and I will continue to come back.

Summerlisios menu- if you order al carte is cheaper. The burger wasn't anything special. Summerlisios menu not worth it!
