Body - The Exhibition

The entire exhibition was created in the laboratories of the world's leading anatomists. The bodies have been preserved by a method called plastination, which involves extraction of bodily fluids by aceton and their replacement by polymer. Between the exhibits in Prague, one can find a complex skin from a human, a skeletal system, muscles, nervous system, including many details of the brain, reproductive organs, human fetal development, but also a kidney with kidney stones or a liver cancer.

The 54st year of the first spring fair in Europe dating back to 16th century offering about 120 rides and other attractions, from swing sets and bumper cars to shooting galleries. A longstanding favorite is the Loch Ness, a large carousel in the shape of the legendary monster, and a roller coaster that runs over water.

The Folimanka Civil Protection Shelter

Come discover one of the largest civil protection shelters in the city of Prague. The shelter is well maintained, it is lit and heated. The tour is also suitable for kids. The entire enclosure is wheelchair accessible.

Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers

Academy Award Winner Howard Shore’s score performed live to the Epic Motion Picture by 250 musicians from the Symphony Orchestra and Choir.
The second part of the epic saga The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers follows the members of the Fellowship after they have been forced to separate. Glum returns to the story to guide the two Hobits on their exhausting way to the Mount Doom.

HAVEL - extended until 13 March 2017!

This extensive exhibition, on the occasion of what would have been Václav Havel’s 80th birthday, presents the photography of two leading Czech photographers, Tomki Němec and Bohdan Holomíček, who for a number of years recorded important historical events as well as ordinary moments in the life of Václav Havel, playwright, politician, president, and citizen. Over three hundred photos are accompanied by hitherto unseen, artistically produced documentary film footage by Petr Jančárek.

Chanticleer an Orchestra of Voices

An orchestra of voices - this unique men’s choir from San Francisco features the full tonal range from bass to alto to soprano. Chanticleer have received numerous awards, including two Grammy Awards. The program for their “My Secret Heart” European tour features compositions from the Renaissance to contemporary classical and popular music, including gospels and spirituals. Highlights of the program include an all-new work from the pen of Finnish composer Jaako Mantyjärvi as well as poems by American composer August Read Thomas.
