An impressive selection of both scotch and beer with a dedication to and knowledge of both. The Daily Pint knows what it is and wants to be. Prices are negligible. Atmosphere is phenomenal.

The guy who runs this place is the man! Extensive knowledge of beers and always happy to recommend something. Come here and be adventurous, try something you've never heard of. They don't have food, but you can order pizzas to the bar. They also have shuffleboard, which is also rad.

I have been here many times and their beer and whiskey selection is quite extensive. I don't know if I'm cursed but I always wind up asking for the beer that they have just run out of... or the one where the tap is being changed, etc., you get the idea. The typical crowd I've witnessed is mostly groups of guys in their 30s. Staff has always been friendly and service always quick. There are two pool tables as well as a shuffleboard table. The bathroom is pretty disgusting, though (even by dive bar standards); I wouldn't recommend bringing a date here. They don't serve food, either, but that didn't bother me. I'd recommend the Daily Pint to a group of guys that want to hang out and drink some high quality craft beer but that's not typically what I'm looking for in a bar.

What used to be a great dive bar is now one of the busiest spots in Santa Monica. The crowd has morphed from locals to those seeking pool, kereoke, and some lively company. No matter. Instead you have the best scotch selection on the west side and some seriously great taps. Great after work spot, curl up with a cold one.

Best beer selection in Los Angeles. Usually a tap takeover, at least every month, from top craft brewers. They pour each beer in the appropriate glass, whether it's a stout, sour, or an IPA. Great pub!

The only place on the west side that serves a proper pint in a proper glass. None of those shitty American pint glasses that are for soda (like every other bar in this town serves beer in). *Monster* selection of scotch. It's a dive bar in all the right ways. Can get crowded at night, but you can always belly-up to the bar on a Saturday afternoon. Great place to rehydrate after a few hours at the beach.

Love this place. It's the neighborhood place where people just come here to have a drink and hang out with friends, maybe shoot a game of pool. There's an interesting list of imported beers. And if you're a whiskey drinker, they have enough bottles that they wrap around the bar. I don't know how 2 1/2 hours flew by, but it did. I just wished I didn't have to leave, but work was calling in the early AM. I can't wait to go back when I head down south again.
