A journalist documents a life deliberately disrupting the status quo.
Introduction
I'm a journalist covering science, technology and business for CNET, Forbes and a few others. In the past I've covered politics, energy and the environment for NPR, Wired and the New York Times, among others. In my spare time I moonlight as a travel addict, charter school founder, father, husband and amateur at everything else. I'm currently at work on chronicling my efforts of the past many years to take a page from the startup scene and live a life that values and strives for disruption.
