Awesome! I wonder who thought of that. At first it was yucky! But then you are excited to stick your own piece of gum. It smells the flavors of gum. Who would have thought that it would become a tourist attraction. I loved it!

We stopped by the gum wall on our walking tour and it was weird, disgusting, compelling, colorful, fun, photogenic, unexpected.

I TOTALLY agree with the guy who said "just flat out gross." At least one person has a realistic attitude! :-)

Great place to get hundreds of different kinds of gum. Only bad thing is, the gum is kind of hard, so you have to suck on it for a while

it's funny how this place is an attraction and everyone who visit Seattle stops here. But then again, why not. It's located at the Pike Market. A place EVERYONE eat and hang out when in town. It is cool seeing all the different colors of sticky gum on the wall but thinking about it grosses me out. Would I go out of my way to check it out? No. But it's one of those places where you see it once and never again.

First of all take a look at the photos of this place to really imagine what is this all about. Now, this is about gum in the wall. Chewed gum. Not only in a small piece of wall but in several metres wide and tall, and at both sides of the street including the a local entrance where the only thing visible is the door and the ticketing window. As a tourist I think this is something between too gross and a weird tourist attraction, I felt somewhere in between "this is cool" and "this is bad", but definitely something you won't see very often. If I were a Seattle citizen, I don't know I'd think... But I wouldn't like to live near this wall.

Interesting thing to stop in and see while you're at Pike Place. Kinda funny to see some of the interesting places people have stuck their gum. Plus you can stick your own piece down and contribute to the cause!

Sure its gross but I view it as an international art project. Sure, it can be viewed as a mass vandalism project but it helps people stick together. Glad to contribute to the cause.
