Our speciality
1. We cook our broth for days by using large amount of pork bones with our special ingredients to make the soup into a thick, rich , milky pork bone soup.

2. We use the premium Berkshire Pork for our chashu , pot-stewed then grill!
3. We pick the highest quality brown eggs, soft boiled them then marinate with soy and sweet wine.

What is the best way to eat Ramen?
1. Eat while the soup is boiling hot!
2. Slurp like no one around ! Slurping actually aerates the broth and enhances the flavor of the noodles, avoid your noodles going soft and droopy, so eat quick and loudly!

Our policy
1. Tips? It's up to you ;)
2. No carry out. We want to keep our noodles at the best quality.

The spicy miso is good, but tiger den has a better broth.....buuuut to be fair, ramen jin has a different approach at ramen, their noodles also taste a bit different. If you do come here, also get the waffle with matcha ice cream, it's very tasty.

Until I tried Ramen noodles at Ramen Jin I wasn't a big fan of Ramen. I had the Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen bowl with roasted pork belly, corn, egg and green onion. While it was not spicy it was very flavorful. The place is on the small side and is a great setting for a nice dinner date. In the middle of the restaurant there is longer table that can accommodate a group of 8 to 10. The staff is nice and the cook very good. Next time I would like to try the spicy Ramen. The prices are very reasonable for excellent food made with local fresh ingredients.

This place has turned me on to Ramen like never before. I didn't really ever like Ramen until I had the Ramen Jin's Spicy Miso Ramen. OMG, it is awesome. I'm really going to miss this place when I move from Houston.

This place wasn't too bad in terms of ramen. I got the shoyu ramen. It's not like your normal clear shoyu broth. It was more like a tonkotsu broth. The broth was good (maybe because tonkotsu is my favorite kind of broth... but it definitely was not traditional shoyu) I was absolutely inlove with the tempura sweet potatoes. I really liked the li hing mui powder that they put on them. My only complaint was that they didn't have any ramen additions on the menu (ex: butter, garlic, extra menma, or corn.) Overall, the place was nice, employees were helpful, and the food was good. I'd come back here again.

This place is AWESOME! I was expecting to get some Pho today & came across this place. This is the Best Noodles in Houston. I loved the "Shoyu" & my gf loved the "Tonkotsu". Plus this restaurant has great aesthetic decor & plenty of appetizers/snacks here.

The tonkotsu ramen was good, but the spicy miso was better. I can't describe how delicious their 5-minute egg is. Get an extra egg, you'll be happy you did!

If you don't know what 'ramen' means ... go to this place and give it a try. It is a typical Japanese soup like dish that is fresh made and really refreshing. I have a Japanese friend with me and even she was excited about the quality of the food.

*warning* this review might be a little lengthy. I brought my mother/grandmother and friends out to Ramen Jin at about 7PM on a Friday Evening. In between the dark "Brilliant Day Spa" and "Nail Salon", the ramen shop has a red glow that could catch your attention from any corner of the plaza. The decor is of the restaurant is nice and minimal, simple wooden tables/desks with unique wood paneling on the walls. Ordering process was fairly simple, we ordered two orders of the Tonkotsu, Miso, and one order of the Tonkutsu Shoyu Ramen as our main dishes and Gua Bao as an appetizer. The orders of Tonkotsu and Miso arrived fairly quickly within 5~ minutes, however the last order did not arrive until I brought it up with the food presenter. At this point it had been about 10 minutes and it seemed as if they stabbed the ticket already. After I brought it up it took another 5 minutes for them to make it and then serve it to me. I would just suggest that they double check their tickets before stabbing the ticket. While I waited for my order to come I did get to eat the Gua Bao which is a traditional Taiwanese Steamed pork bun. DELICIOUS. All I have to say... because then I received my ramen. The broth was good, not too salty like you would find in most Japanese ramen, perhaps a reflection on Brian Chen's (the owner) Taiwanese and Japanese heritage or just personal taste. The noodles were also good, not undercooked or overcooked but just right. All in all the combination of the two along with the huge chunk of Chasu-Pork Belly left a good taste in my mouth.
