This is the best tour of the everglades you will probably find for the price. They are also military friendly. I was impressed. The whole operation is very professional and there is a lot to see there especially for the kids. It is only a short drive from Fort Lauderdale and well worth your time to visit.

My wife and I went here for the airboat tour and had a blast. The ride was awesome and the staff was very nice and knowledgeable. There is a good amount of things to see and to learn about. It is much more worth it to purchase the airboat tour and use the bracelet to get into the animal rescue area. I could not imagine paying $10 to just see this area because it is so small. Purchase the Airboat tour and you get the Exhibit for free! The only thing we did not like was that the tour guide was asking for tips during the Airboat tour. Sawgrass Recreation Park please pay your tour guides a proper salary so they do not hound the guests with asking for tips. The family behind us had 3 adults and 4 teens which would cost over $140 for a 25 minute ride. The tip I feel is unnecessary! Otherwise this would have received an Excellent rating!

My family and I had loads of fun there today! The air boat ride was fun and informative, and we saw several alligators, as well as a blue heron, a vulture, and an osprey. Just make sure to stay seated until you're told to get off, otherwise the boat can tip over if everyone tries to get off all at once. Afterwards, when we went to the animal exhibit, we saw even more alligators, but most were small, baby alligators, and you are given the chance to hold one. There are so many more animals that you can see in the exhibit though, besides alligators, like boas, pythons, wolves, parrots, panthers, leopards, rabbits, pigs, iguanas, and a lot more animals than I thought I'd see today. Turns out a lot of them are donated. There's also an alligator show with Gator Tim, who is very cool and knowledgeable. Everyone seems to love what they do and what they're doing, and I'd definitely come back. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who loves the outdoors and animals.

Panther, leopards, snapping turtles, snakes, hogs, fox, oh yeah and the biggest gator I ever saw, plus you can hold a baby. Animals here were rescued, either from wild or peoples homes. Only 10 bucks to see all the animals, better than the other parks we went to, and the gift shop had stuff we actually wanted to buy. Very friendly staff. Wish we had done airboat here too, price was the cheapest and they were smaller quieter boats. All around awesome for cheap!

Father's Day gift from my wife and son. Although the park was older, the animals all seemed well kept. Regarding the airboat tour, the boat captain was knowledgeable and managed to navigate us to a gator. All in all a nice trip for a couple of hours and priced very right, especially considering Florida residents receive unlimited airboat rides for a year with the price of one ticket.
