*Fireflies in the summer nights of Hangzhou*

When is the last time you see fireflies? People who live in busy cities seem to have these little flashes forgotten. In Hangzhou, there are some places where you can see thousands of fireflies flying in forest, which is a scene only appearing in summer nights.

Where can we see those little flying flashes? The answer is— the bamboo forest at Yunqi, Xixi Wetland Park and the forest in Jingshan.

Why there are such a huge amount of fireflies at these attractions? According to an entomologist from Zhejiang Museum of Natural History, fireflies need dark and pollution-free natural environment with clear water and high humidity, which these three spots can provide them with.

Exploring deeper and deeper to the forest, sailing on boat, being embraced by the flying flashes in the air — what a fantasy scene!
