Alex, thanks for sharing your testimony. As your neighbor, I'm grateful for your family's great example and know how miraculous your adoption was from the experience that was shared by your parents. Thanks for being who you are.
Have you ever thought why are you here?   I have thought this a couple of times.  I know I'm here for a reason because I was one of the last adoptions from  Russia.  If my parents hadn't followed the promptings of the Spir...

Chase, Thanks for sharing your experience, so we can all learn from it. You're a great example of strength and faith to me and my family.
Why do we have trials in our lives?  Simple: to learn.   I recently finished a battle with cancer, but I would be lying if I said it was easy.  However, I would never forsake that trial, because I learned that things come ...

Thanks for sharing your lesson with the rest of us. I hope that the lives we live bear stronger testimonies of what we believe than the words we say. You are right that it's the practical application of our beliefs and the hope and joy we experience that will Mayer most to others.
About 6 years ago, I was waiting for my children to finish up their ski lessons.  I sat on a park bench right next to the ski run and watched my three children pass me every so often with their ski instructor.  After a short ...

Truth. If we didn't receive more than we could bear, we wouldn't need the atonement or the Savior. We also wouldn't receive the opposition necessary to grow. We could all use a bit more love and compassion as we help each other through life's challenges. Yes, the sun does rise, Sunday does come. But for some there is a long period of darkness and struggle that shouldn't be shrugged off by others or dismissed as a lack of faith. I know I can do better there.
There’s a certain phrase I’ve come to really dislike. All my life, I’ve heard this phrase whenever I go through a rough patch. *And by rough patch, I mean a prickly, gnarly patch that leaves me bleeding to near death*. You’re...

Anna, this is exactly how I feel about prayer. Thanks for sharing your testimony.
My name is Anna.  I am 16 years old and I am a Mormon.   As a teenager I go through many difficulties of finding out who I am and what my purpose is in life and that is why prayer is very important to me.   I'm not pe...

Sherrie, thank you so much for sharing your experience and testimony of the atonement. I also know the atonement is real.
Hello! My name is Sherrie and I have anxiety and OCD.  For those of you who know me pretty well or have ever worked with me on a project or assignment, this information might have confirmed your suspicions. For some, this...

Awesome application to life and its challenges.
Several weeks ago our family took a short trip to Goblin Valley located in the deserts of central Utah. We knew that the Mars-like landscape and the strange formations would be a fun adventure for our four young children.  Th...

Thanks for sharing, Maile. I will always remember your example of Christmas with the Howards when I think of receiving the Holy Ghost.

Product Market Strategist
Introduction
I love reading, writing, gardening, fixing things, spending time with family and friends, and working on family history. I was married in 1993 to the love of my life and have four bright and wonderful children. Professionally, I have been doing Internet marketing since 1996, when I first created web pages and an online catalog for a Japanese trading company. In 1998 I was the first marketing hire at Ancestry.com, where I led all interactive marketing initiatives for several months. I also held a position at Ancestry.com as a product manager. The products I managed included the Ancestry.com subscription, MyFamily.com, Ancestry World Tree, Online Family Tree, and Ancestry Family Tree. Since that time, I have worked as marketing vice president for many companies, including OneGreatFamily, Move Networks, FamilyLink, and FamilySearch. I am currently employed as a senior product marketing manager at Domo, where I help to imagine the future of SaaS-enabled analytics.
