Hi all,

I recently came across an issue that I would like to share here.

The website we worked has product pages with breadcrumbs markup set up. We found that it is not a  good practice to add the title and link for the final breadcrumb when we mark up structured data.

Example: home>page1>page2>

When we add breadcrumb for the sample page above we wont link the current page breadcrumb (page 2 here) since it is not having the title and the link. We see that it is not good to give link to the current page breadcrumb because it will be confusing to the users.

But we also see that Google recommends adding the title and link for the final breadcrumb here:

https://developers.google.com/structured-data/breadcrumbs

Can someone let me know which practice is the best when we add breadcrumbs for a product website?

Hi all,

We face some crawling issues for wordpress multi-site set up website in search results. Google crawls the parent site URL along with the child site. The URL should be:

http://www.childsite.com/

But we see that Google crawls it as

http://parentsite.com/childsite/

We see this when we look up the website using "site: parentsite childsite" search term in Google.  We would like to know why this is happening and we want to know if there is a way to hide the parent site from showing up in search results.
