Great vibe from the staff. The owners are wonderful and easy to talk to. A simple, fresh, local fare that's always changing with the season. They make their own bread, cheese, and butter. My husband and I bring anyone and everyone we know here, and everyone always leaves happy.

Excellent wood-fired pizza, delicious bread, locally sourced ingredients, excellent beer selection, friendly service, very cool atmosphere. What is perfect? Bread & Butter, Margherita Pizza. Location is great for couples and small groups.

On the good side: service is cordial. On the bad side: It may be a personal thing, but I felt that their pizza dough was too burnt and dry, and it would have been nice if it had some salt for its "breadiness" to shine through. The beet salad, please avoid it! Some cubes of beets where thoroughly cooked, while others were hard to chew (it may have been because the chopping was not consistent). One side of the plate had all the salt, and was wayyyy too salty to be enjoyed, while the other side did not have any salt. Their "yogurt" dressing was more of a cloudy water with no flavor. I mean, this beet salad was a hotmess, and I truly hope that they get it together. I don't know, the food was simply not good.

I came for the Pizza only and I was fairly impressed. It was tasty for Jersey City but not the best I've ever had. The overpriced food, while tasty, does not overcome the extra nickle-and-diming packaged with the rest of the meal. $3 per meatball. Fine. I'll pay. $3 for a pre-bottled 8oz coke? Ok, now you are just being thieves to your community. Overcharge for stuff you actually make. Not the things you can get anywhere else for 1/3 the price. As a famous man in a banana costume once said... "COME ON!"

The bread and butter is amazing. Sounds mundane, but the butter tastes more like cheese. Truly amazing.

Ambiance: The place is absolutely amazing. They restored the Majestic and kept its character. The walls are crumbling apart and the ceilings have the 1920/30s feel to them. This is a great date spot. Service: The staff is real friendly and efficient. We went there on a friday night and the wait was about 20 minutes and so we went to the bar. Unlike most places that force you to close the bar tab out prior to going to the table, they were easily able to transfer our bill over. Once sited, the recommendations made our waitress amazing! Food: The food awesome! This is probably one of the best brick oven pizza places I've ever had. We had a Margarita pizza and their daily special which had corn and basil on it. The only downside here is that their appetizers are not that great. Knowing this we went to another place for a drink and appetizers and then came here for the main course. Price: This place is slightly overpriced. $20 for a pie just seems a little too much. We had two pizzas and two drinks and our bill was around $60. Would I go back: Yes
