This place is amazing! Me and my friend (a sushi junkie) went at 5 pm. We didn't think to look at their hours so we got there right after they opened. The selection was great, lots of things I had never had (cow stomach) and it was all fresh and tasty. The only possible negative thing I can say is that the names of things don't always tell you what is in it, you might have to ask if you're a nervous eater. They have cooked foods as well, be aware the roasted duck might have bones in it, but was delicious! I will honestly be considering this as a weekly eat even though it's 45 min from me just because it is so good and the selection is unbeatable! Try it!

Horrible. When they open, it was really good. Three times in a row had really bad experience. Only thing good there is the older asain guy cooking the habachi. He likes to draw your face on a plate with oyster sauce. I give it a year until it closes.

I come here all the time with my friends and family. If you get there for lunch on a weekday, it's under $11. I love sushi and it's great quality for a buffet, so for $11 I can recommend it highly.

If there was another buffet that had this large of a selection of sushi and Japanese dishes all-you-can-eat I'd go there instead... but Yellow Tail seems to still be unique in this regard. I haven't found a replacement since the Ichiban closed, which was vastly superior. (Though maybe that's why they went under... they couldn't afford feeding us buckets full of fresh fish...) I still go here whenever I can, but it's incredibly hit-or-miss. Going to eat when they're busy (lunch and dinner hours) usually means the food is fresher, but you can also run into problems where the "expensive" items like the sashimi or certain rolls just stop getting replenished. They never want to replenish a tray until it's completely empty, either, so you'll often find a dish with, say, three massacred dumplings that have fused together into one mass of dough with the filling taken out of them. I've had them sit there like that for 20 minutes until I threw the mass on my plate to empty the tray and trigger the refill. (Then it was thrown out on my plate, uneaten...) That last dried-out looking piece of something that nobody wants may sit there untouched your entire time dining until another diner either gets desperate enough to actually eat it, or takes it out of pity so they can throw it away personally. The sashimi is just roughly sliced raw fish on a plate, sometimes more chunk or cube formed. Tasty but not pretty. Diners don't care as it's usually shoveled up within a few minutes. It may or may not be replenished while you're there. The rice for the nigiri is eats like it is prepped ahead and nearly frozen. They're very often gummy and densely packed or icy cold and not completely thawed. When they are good they're great, though, which keeps me coming back despite their frequent failings. There is a great selection of foods, the grill, a great selection of the "American sushi" specialty rolls that are covered in mayo or deep fried, raw oysters, mussels, steamed clams, octopus salads, and other tasty things with tentacles that gross out everyone else at the table.

Food was worst than before and pricing is way more than the better restaurant else where. Do not waste your money on this place, it is a joke. We were there on Sunday at 6PM and they do not even care to replenish the food and all is not fresh and dry. Sushi was not presented nicely as the lady just cut it and throw it down the plate when you asked for the Sashimi. It look like she is serving you dump with an attitude. Never going back again!
