Go ahead and either post your final reflections here as Judy and Harveir have or you can just email/share them with me too.

It was a pleasure working with you all. This was one of the most fun groups I have had because of the different backgrounds!

Please don't ever hesitate to ask for help in the future you all have my personal email and can find me here on Google+ too!

Here we are gang, it's the last week. Please go ahead and share your final elements with me when they are done.
The Apex Project and Reflection Paper
Also please finish up the discussion on Funding as well.
If you have questions. As always, please let me know.

Hey Class,
We are changing classrooms for tomorrow.
Will will be in the Science Building Generac S105
This will be a better classroom for us. You should be able to part in the main entrance ring area.
See you all tomorrow. Remember that your lessons can be up to 20 mins in length and bring your finished final along too!
Ben

The device discussion was a little more difficult this time around do to the wide range of differences we have in our backgrounds. So I'm going to try something a little different for our last discussion.

You have a budget of $500,000 and were just elected the Tech Guru of your institution because you passed this course.

Create a plan for your institution to use for technology related purchases. This could include both hardware and software.
What assistive Tech would you make sure you purchased? What devices might you purchase. What software would you buy? Please also include the reasoning behind your choices.

Go!

So far you are all doing great! This is the last part of this set of questions:

Now add an explanation of your grading scheme and your approach to grading formative and summative work. While you may not be able to speak to specific assignments, you should be able to explain how you intend to go about determining student grades. Be sure to explain the degree to which such things as extra credit, penalties for late assignments, and the redoing of assignments and assessments affect grades in your classroom. As always, ground your explanations in the best practices literature.

Don't forget to look at each other's posts in the ongoing discussion this week and make some comments!

Alright so Part 2 -
I'm getting this out now because I have some time. Due Friday by Midnight!

Again please cite resources you find and those of you already teaching can add in any district enforced policies as well as that will really help others get a sense of what they may or may not be able to do in their own classroom!

A description of the classroom management procedures and routines you intend to employ in your classroom. Include supporting references grounding your choices in best practice.

Be sure to include the following:
-Attendance procedures / rationale for method of assigning student seating
-Distribution and collection of materials/assignments/homework
-The manner by which you choose to begin class
-Handling students returning from an absence
-Other daily procedures that affect student learning and the classroom environment
