As you may be aware, during the past few days we have been fending off distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks on the website, realtor.com, which Move operates for the NAR. Thursday night, we made great progress in securing our website, and by now you have probably seen it become available. However, the way DDoS attacks work is that criminals bombard websites with malicious traffic to overload the systems, crowding out legitimate users, such as yourself. Our website’s uptime and protection improves throughout the day and realtor.com “uptime” increases. 

We’re close, but we’re not able to say the problem is fully corrected yet. You may see temporary outages during the process of making the system stronger. Every hour, it gets better. For now, we’ve got a pretty good level of service that we think will get you back to searching for your next home. And when we’re fully restored, we will tell you that we are fully restored. Then, you will know that realtor.com is even stronger than when we started.

We appreciate your continued patience as we stabilize our systems.
