Went to this cafe/restaurant a few weeks back and boy what a waste of an evening. The cavernous place was empty for a reason. The food was disappointing. I mean it tasted ok, but for the price?? I ordered a sea bass and it came on its own sitting on some mega salty bread. WTF?? The waiter said thats how the chef cooks it. If i'm not meant to eat the bread why don't you tell me first. And why put something on my plate that's not to be eaten? The fish was nicely cooked tho. My wife had some other stuff that was just ok. Didn't have any chianti or prosecco because of a 'big' party the night before. But the icing on the cake was the 1980's dessert trolley..God help me. I guess that's one place i wont be visiting again.

I booked L'anima's private room for Monday 24th November 2014 for 8 directors. The food and service were amazing. However, the room was cold - there is no warmth either physically or in "body". There is also no music to the private room and when asking I was advised the speakers were not connected and they will let me know if they can connect them, but they never got back to me. Although I would definitely recommend this restaurant, it does need to add pictures to warm the room up, and also some music is required.

I went for the special set menu of 2 courses, glass of wine and glass of prosecco for £35. When I was seated I was brought complimentary olives and a bread basket, with many different types, all tasted amazing. Started off with the beef carpaccio, maybe a few too many cheese shavings as it was a bit overpowering with the delicate beef . Risotto for a main, no complaints, waiter even suggested the wine to go with the course. Service was extremely friendly and attentive throughout and a great value for money with this offer. I would definitely come back on a special occasion and try the a la carte menu.

With my best friend I was there two days ago. We had a relaxing evening. The atmosphere was welcoming and the interior was quite modern and elegant. In my opinion the white chairs are a wise decision. For starters we both had spicy crab. I liked the rich flavour of the green apples. The fresh leaves were nice addition to the meal too. My main course was the Rabbit Siciliana. It was not so cheap, but still affordable- approximately £24.00. I recommend visiting this restaurant in your free time. You can go alone or with some friends, it is up to you.

Food tasted better than amazing, the service was beyond hospitable and friendly, and the bill was very affordable. One of my favourite Italian restaurants in London so far. L'anima catered to my individual preferences and pretty much threw the menu away and gave me and my friends something completely different to suit our needs. The basil bread was delicious (coming from a guy who doesn't get too excited about bread), the pasta was full of authentic flavour, the dessert was to die for, and to top it off, the waiter added a nice little surprise at the end. Very glad we bailed on current lunch plans to go here. I'm now a regular for life at this 3 month old cafe/deli/restaurant.

Last week, I took my wife there for our anniversary. We had an amazing dinner and excellent bottle of red wine. I liked the interior and the luxury atmosphere. And what about the service? Well, it was more than perfect. The staff have created welcoming ambience. We loved this place!

Every meal is beautifully presented by the professionals! The prices vary, but for me.. they are quite high. I don't go there often, but sometimes an exciting dining experience in L'Anima is a pleasant change of the atmosphere and the boring activities.

It is true that L'Anima offers the finest of contemporary Italian cooking. You should try the precisely- made food, that is always beautifully presented to the customers. On Friday, I went for a lunch there and two courses were about £16! This was an awesome deal.
