Beautifully expressed, Rachael. You've finished this particular journey while I'm just at the beginning of mine--long enough for me to relate to much of what you've experienced, short enough for some of it to still be a little scary. Haven't green any anonymous notes yet, but we just did a major re-do of Visiting Teaching, so I'm sure it will come! May you be blessed for your service, may you enjoy whatever the Lord calls you to next, and may you have much more time for writing!

Great post by Jane Friedman for young writers - and all us old folks, too!

Do you sign into Amazon with your Facebook account?  Very enlightening post from Anne Allen.  Worth reading the comments, too!

Great infographic.  I know where I am (which is where this set of books needs to be), but I also know where I want to be!

CONGRATULATIONS!  What are you naming him?  Hmm, that ought to be in a private message.  :)

Well, CONGRATS!  And that's for knowing what's coming (also a choice), not just because it's a boy.  :)  But for what it's worth, I discovered that the hormonal teenager thing is real - mostly because it comes when our homones are on a perimenopausal rollercoaster themselves!

Book 2 - congrats!  When's your projected release date?  (I've already got Book 1)

Wow, Rachael, your goals and seeing what you've accomplished make me feel like a slacker!  I love lists, love making them and crossing things off, but for New Year's? I started going with a one-word focus, and I think 2015's will be "balance."  (which I need a lot of, or I"ll lose what sanity is left!)  Keep up the good work, and you can guest post on my blog to cross another one off.  :)
