Jonathan Rosenfeld grew up in Israel, served in the IDF, and received a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering in 1999 from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, Department of Mechanical Engineering.
He worked as a process development engineer, conducting research on electro-chemical polishing methods at HAM-LET. He then joined CAMTEK, where he provided world-wide costumer support services for the company's automated optical inspection (AOI) systems used by the semiconductor manufacturing and packaging, IC substrate, and printed circuit board (PCB) industries.
In 2009, Jonathan Rosenfeld obtained his Ph.D. degree at the University of Rochester, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, under the supervision of Professor Eby G. Friedman. His primary research interests are in the areas of interconnect design, resonant clock and data distribution networks, on-chip DC-DC converters, 3-D ICs, and the design of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits.
