Last weekend, Kindred Hospitals of Pittsburgh participated in the American Lung Association's Fight for Air Climb at One Oxford Centre in downtown Pittsburgh. Close to 500 people climbed 45 flights of stairs to help raise over $100,000 to support improving the lives of Pittsburgh residents currently living with chronic lung diseases. Way to go to all of our Kindred Climbers!

"Studies show that women tend to wait much longer than men to get emergency care for heart attacks. Once they do go to the ER, their symptoms are often misdiagnosed." http://n.pr/1IkCK7I
Women under 55 are twice as likely to die after being hospitalized for a heart attack than men. Women delay treatment because they may not recognize the symptoms and they're reluctant to make a fuss.
