- Henry KwanModerator+1Hello Luke.
What version of Android are you using? What device?
Our apps using the default system browser that's built-in to the device. Have you tried checking the overflow (3-dot) menu to see if there are any options to show the SD card if it isn't present in the Nav Drawer? (Please see example screenshot from a Moto G3.)
- Moto X Pure ~ Android 6.0
Below is all i see in "Folders"... which leads to local/internal Music folder... cannot navigate to external SD43w
- Henry KwanModerator+1Hello Luke,
Thanks for the screenshot.
I'm sorry for the confusion. I thought you meant the "Scan For Local Folder" option in Settings. That's where my screenshot came from.
The Folder view in our app is a virtualized folder hierarchy. It isn't a file manager in the traditional sense. Both internal storage and SD card files are listed together here.
What it's showing is the path information for each entry in the library database. The one thing that might not be immediately clear is that if there are folders with the same name from internal storage and the SD card, these are "virtualized" into the same folder.
In other words, if you have two sets of folders:
(path to internal storage)
(path to SD card)
Both folderA and folderB will be listed under "Music" in the Folder view.
- excellent. i understand. almost like an overlaid filesystem in userspace in linux.43w
