The 11 Best Social Media Platforms To Help Build Your Business - infographic
http://www.digitalinformationworld.com/2016/04/which-social-media-channels-should-i-use-for-my-business.html

"Marketing on social networking sites has become a standard way for many small and large companies to further their business objectives.

Some experts suggest that where a company is heavily reliant upon the Internet for lead generation, having accounts on all the major social networks including #Facebook#LinkedIn and #Twitter is one way to ensure maximum exposure. As a small business, however, you may not have the time or money to do this. A targeted approach will ensure that you know exactly where to focus your efforts and which social network is best for your small business.

Successfully engaging customers on any #socialmedia site means that you will need to provide quality content. The networks can be differentiated, however, by the types of content that are more popular on each, with sites such as Facebook, #Pinterest, and #Instagram, for instance, rather more geared towards visual content including photos and videos. Twitter has proven effective for the promotion of written blog content, not unlike LinkedIn, a platform where business professionals share written expert opinions and evaluate market trends in a range of industries.

To design an effective strategy it helps to know about the reach of each platform and which businesses are more suited to each. Here is an overview of some of the most popular:"

Upgrade your URLs before July 1st, 2015
As a reminder, all advertisers will need to use Upgraded URLs: http://goo.gl/NZv2W1 in place of destination URLs starting on July 1, 2015. If you do not use tracking parameters in your destination URLs: https://goo.gl/ThiKKI or only use auto-tagging: https://goo.gl/TnGiFs, you can wait for the auto-upgrade: https://goo.gl/vyO5QI starting on July 1st.

For tips to help you take advantage of the benefits of Upgraded URLs, and stories from advertisers who are succeeding with the new and improved URL system, check out our blog: http://goo.gl/0PbYhO

If you aren't using JSON or have no idea what I'm even talking about, read.
This post is an excellent guide to using JSON-LD for local business schema markup. There's a link to a handy spreadsheet listing all the schema types inside the post. Loved that Easter Egg.

Introducing ad group details reports

Last month, we announced campaign details reports - a faster, easier way to see which features and settings are enabled in each of your campaigns. Today, we’re rolling out ad group details reports to help you find more granular information about the features and settings enabled in each of your ad groups.

Now, you can easily see details like how many sitelinks are active or disapproved or whether you have mobile bid adjustments enabled within your ad group details reports. You can also sort, filter and add additional performance columns to these new reports to help you focus on the ad group details and metrics that matter most to you.

To get started, you can view and download the new ad group details reports under the ‘Dimensions’ tab. If you’re a My Client Center user, you can access these reports under ‘Client reporting.’ Check out our Help Center to learn more: https://goo.gl/qb9fzZ.
