With the event now being 2.5 weeks away (yay!) we're getting into the zone where the long-range forecasts can start to be meaningful. This forum blog will provide by far the best forecasts for the festival over the coming weeks:

http://forum.netweather.tv/topic/80198-glastonbury-wed-25-to-sun-29-june-2014/

So far the forecast for the coming two weeks is pretty positive: warm and dry, which will at least help dry the ground out after the torrential rain we've been having for the last few months...

However the forecast for the festival itself (which has a very low confidence at this range) is much less settled, although still warmish. It may be that the good weather ends just before the festival, but we will see - a lot can change in forecasts this far out!

latest from the bbc weather shows some uncertainty and typical weather for Wimbledon/Glastonbury as a possibility! I'm going to check the waterproofness of my wellies!

Monday 23 June—Sunday 6 July
An uncertain outlook with two competing scenarios
Northwesterly winds are most likely to persist with temperatures near normal.
There remains a lot of uncertainty about the overall pressure pattern over the UK, however there are two main competing scenarios;
Firstly, high pressure persists with mostly dry weather and a few showers in the northwest.
Alternatively a slow moving area of low pressure could form over the UK bringing heavy downpours of rain and a wet end to the month.

Remember to vote, UK people. Don't leave voting to someone else, because they might be leaving it to you. Me? I'm voting Lib Dem. Yeh you heard...

Whether you're after cash to pay for services or worried about inequalities, the sheer scale of wealth compared to income means you can't sensibly ignore it.

Looks dramatic at first sight, but the biggest chunk of the wealth bars probably corresponds to the value of people's houses.

Hi all. Advertising this again, because we've had no takers and so are now offering it for HALF PRICE!

After some friend drop-outs we have two spare places in our hired Glastonbury Festival Tipi in the Tipi field (next to The Park and Arcadia areas). We are friendly people and are offering the spaces at half price which is £79 per person. The Tipi field comes with its own toilets, showers, 24-hour cafe, camp-fire, etc; and is ideal if you don't want to fight for a tent pitch - particularly if you are arriving late (e.g. Thursday evening). You will of course need to already have your own festival ticket! If you are interested, please PM me...

Oh wow, I've just discovered this! I got this in '80 or '81 and played it into oblivion... Memories. I still have it on vinyl somewhere at my mum's, but no way at all to play it even if I found it :-/
