"Various brands of pie and tart shells that were sold across Canada are being recalled due to E. coli fears.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says the shells were produced by Edmonton-based Harlan Bakeries.
The Deep Dish Pie Shells, Sweetened Tart Shells and Tart Shells are sold under the Great Value, Apple Valley, Western Family and No Name brands.
The CFIA says the best-before dates on the affected shells range from Nov. 24, 2017 to Dec. 21, 2017.
The federal agency says there have been no confirmed illnesses associated with these products. The full recall can be viewed on the Canadian Food Inspection Agency website.
Food contaminated with E. coli O121 may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Symptoms can include nausea, vomiting, mild to severe abdominal cramps and watery to bloody diarrhea."

"Billions of dollars of trade between them and the millions of refugees Europe wants Turkey to keep are two of the strongest strings holding this relationship together.
Neither can really afford to lose the other, but both sides will likely keep pretending they can. One side screams Islamophobia, the other dictatorship.
The game goes on; the region continues to rumble."

"The paper, published in the Royal Meteorological Society's Weather journal, suggests the famous painting may have been inspired by a meteorological phenomenon called nacreous clouds — colloquially referred to as mother of pearl clouds.
It's not the first time scientists have tried to pinpoint the nature of Munch's chaotic sky. In 2004, U.S. astronomers suggested Munch saw volcanic ash in the atmosphere from Krakatoa, which erupted nine years before Munch created his first rendition of The Scream in 1893.
But Fikke said the painting "contains the same colours and wave patterns" as mother of pearl clouds. The phenomenon's rarity would also explain why it had such an impact on the artist, he said."

"A CBC News analysis of Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) data shows that, between 2011 and 2014, a growing number of Canadians earning a six-figure income or more didn't pay a cent in income tax.
The analysis compiled all individual income tax and benefit returns filed with the CRA and focused on the top three income brackets: $100,000 to $149,999, $150,000 to $249,999 and $250,000 and over.
During those four fiscal years, the number of Canadians who legally avoided paying income tax rose about 50 per cent from 4,050 to 6,110. The number of filers who made more than $250,000 a year and completely avoided taxes doubled."
