I've had both our 2008 Pontiac G6,and 2002 Mercury Cougar in for Service to Stark in Nov.2015.My Service John Miller,who is very knowledgeable,and does research on-line to find out about re-calls,and does the very best offering Stark service for the customer.He is very thoughtful,and takes his time to explain the car problem,and what they did to remedy it.I have the ut-most con- fidence in John's know-how,and have been proven many times the expertise of their mechanics. John is fair and honest,will offer me discounts on their work,when-ever possible.Because of his integrity and your excellent mechanics,your company will always have my business,and I will not hesitate to recommend your services to anybody I come into contact with.Sincerely,Patrick Ross

$5000! I do not recommend getting work done at this service station. I recently started bringing my car here for trouble with my coolant system 5 months ago because they have loaner vehicles. THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO GIVE LOANERS WITHOUT 2 DAYS NOTICE which is not helpful when your car breaks down. I had it back in the shop 3 months later for overheating. At this point it felt like every 2 weeks for 2 months straight I had another issue. I ended up getting every component of the system replaced 1 at a time and spending far more than the vehicle is worth. They were not forthcoming with the information and took every pay check from me for 2 months! Why couldn't they come forward and tell me that it was not worth spending 5 grand on? They sell cars! 5 months back a pipe that carries coolant into the engine rusted clean through. I think this is the point when they should have informed me this is something to be concerned about. Maybe tell me that if a pipe rusts through then the rest of the components are probably in jeopardy. At this time I had the CV boots replaced. (which is not something you should do if your car is headed to the junk heap) Then 3 months later its my water pump. They recommend an acid flush which blows my head gasket. I am sure it was not leaking before they did the acid flush. 2 weeks later I am overheating on my 18 mile commute again at 2 am. Then they replace the radiator. 2 weeks later overheat and its time to replace the heater core. They kept adding new parts to a clogged system which probably has the gunk spread into my new parts as well. (which I went somewhere else to get replaced and probably saved several hundred dollars) They quoted me $2000 to fix the catalytic converter which another local shop quoted me $800

I brought my Chevrolet Equinox in for complimentary service and the service team did an excellent job. They pointed out that my brakes were starting to wear, but instead of telling me that it needs to be an immediate fix, they were honest and didn't push for additional maintenance. They simply said in a few months bring it back in for the next check up and they'll take another look. Normally a dealership will push service on you, but at Stark, they pointed out areas that may need work in the future and left it at that. That alone will have me coming back time and again.

I DREAD car shopping. It's usually stressful and awful. But my experience at the Stark dealership in Stoughton, WI was fantastic.There were none of the high pressure sales tactics so common at car places. They answered all of our questions and we got a great deal on exactly the car we wanted. I did a lot of research and Stark really does have the best prices in the area and their staff are friendly and professional. AJ Stark and Bill "Bingo" Seitz were fantastic to work with. I would absolutely shop with them again.

I want to give a big shout out and high recommendation for Stark Automotive Group in Stoughton! I had the best car buying experience there and want to spread this great news! I had the opportunity to work with AJ Stark and Darren Anderson and they were the most friendly and helpful gentlemen from the moment I walked into the dealership. Along my car buying experience, I was provided with a wealth of information each step of the way, which helped me make the best decision for me and my family. In the end, I walked out of the dealership with exactly what I was looking for, at the price I was looking for! I can't thank AJ and Darren enough for making my car buying experience the best!

When I think of a reputible mechanic I think: HONEST trustworthy, skilled, doesn't take shortcuts, high quality, great communication, someone who cares, priced right (even if it's a little high it's worth it, if done correctly). I have never purchased a vehicle from them, but I did take my vehicle in to be repaired. There are too many things that went wrong with my experience to type on this review. I will tell you this, from my experience with Stark Auto's, I would say they have shown me NONE of these characteristics and I will NEVER take my vehicle there again. If you are considering it, I would suggest you stear clear.
