UGLY PLACES TO DIE

BUY PHOTOCOPIES OF UGLY UGLY DUNGEONS AND GAME NOTES
RECEIVE THEM PHYSICALLY IN THE POST
BE DISAPPOINTED IN YOUR PURCHASE

These aren't cleaned up at all, literally photocopied and sent off. Like you wrote them yourself or something.

So, you have a flat price and then add the stuff you want.
UK £1.00
EVERYWHERE ELSE £2.50

Stuff you can get:

£1.50 - DEAD CITY RIVEN WOLF - A frozen city killed by the incantations of slaves.

£2.50 - KRA-TA-TAE - The dead mountainhome of very very decadent dwarves. Has automatons and Elder Dark.

£1.00 - TOMB OF SAINTS - Small dungeon to throw in anywhere. Saints illuminated, their artefacts, and the acolytes buried with them.

£2.00 - HOUSE VON DEITER OF STIRLAND - WFRP 1e Witch-hunter investigation, based on a rural hexcrawl. Features a real-deal digital map that doesn't look like shite.

£0.50 - HOUSE WETTIN OF OSTERMARK - WFRP 1e Witch-Hunter investigation, based in a city. Entirely notes.

(e.g. buying everything and shipping to UK is £8.50, £10.00 international)

Email me at lukegearing[AT]gmail.com for payment details, yer address and such.
Whenever I have orders I'll wait til the nearest Friday to photocopy and ship them then.

Image below is indicative of the quality you should expect, although some are nicer.

Parasite Architecture Quivering Stone
The designs are innumerable, hidden in the tombs of infamous architects - sealed in lead, cast to the bottom of seas now deserts - the ugly centre of star-metal deposits - the dead basins of volcanoes. They speak of a tower. Mind-breakingly gigantic, both i...

thinking aloud here, but whatever

Is a big ol' difference between OSR/Trad whatever games and story games how they get to genre/narrative? LIke, I feel like LotFP, for example, as a rule set, supports the game style and narrative style it's built for, whereas something like Dungeon World dictates it?
The mechanics and narrative-control stuff feels more dictatorial, you are HEROES and you doing HERO STUFF because of the mechanics, rather than low-hp in lotfp supporting the style of play of dying horribly in some horror-hole

Bloom
The sun shone. The greens, yellows and purples intensified, warped by the greenhouse glass. The plants inside coiled thick, although the cunning order of it was plain to him – a complex weaving of species from across the globe, flowers blooming from the wro...

TROPHY ROOMS MY GUY
This works with a bit of tweaking anywhere, and stems from me thinking about alternate uses for stuff you'd normally get XP for.

First, initial concept comes from a gold-as-xp game, where you deliberately choose to NOT sell a valuable (magic?) item, forgoing the XP gain. But rather than using it, you instead put it in your trophy room for some sort of mild bonus, or something like that?

Also works with the Monster Hunting campaign I'm pondering over, but needs some form of sacrifice of the XP, or reward?

Man, I want a monster book with two artists, both doing their own rendition of the beastie, heavy on implication and short on hard facts
