Just another day in the office at the Waldo Hancock Bridge in 2003...Project management team meet to discuss their method of implementing load transfer. Cianbro's scope of work - which was an engineering first - was to install the supplemental cables, connect them onto the existing suspender system and transfer half of the bridge's dead load off the main cables. #throwbackthursday

Field administrators from many of Cianbro's jobsites came together this week for their annual Field Admin Summit. Field administrators are a huge resource to our jobsites and wear many hats. They have a lot of responsibilities and enjoy coming together and sharing tips for being successful at their jobs.

Cianbro is currently working on the I-695 beltway in Baltimore, Maryland on the Curtis Creek Bascule Bridge Rehabilitation. Recently the team removed the pinion gear from the pier for rehabilitation by G&G Steel in Alabama. This project is a Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) project for our client, Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA).

At the end of 2004, Cianbro became 100% employee owned. It was the long time vision of our founders, the Cianchette brothers, that team members would have the opportunity to share in the company’s success. Fast forward to 2018 and our team continues to build success through hard work, quality and a team effort. #ThrowBackThursday

Cianbro was the construction manager for a 1.3 million square foot mall expansion completed in 2009 to the Carousel Center in Syracuse, New York. Cianbro embraced the owner's green initiative which included the use of approximately 400,000 gallons of bio fuel in construction equipment and a 95% construction material recycling status, all while the project was administered 100% paperless.
