Google Plus And Pinterest Go Hand in Hand

When it comes to social media Google Plus and Pinterest are the new guys and thus also tend to be the most overlooked and ignored platforms by people who consider themselves social media professionals. I am always very confused when I see this because not only are they great social media platforms by themselves, when used together correctly they tend to go together like peanut butter and jelly. You can use these two social media platforms together to encourage engagement and boost your overall reach and exposure.

Social media users are extremely visual people and this is especially so for both Google Plus and Pinterest where beautiful and engaging images tend to propel content. A pin on Pinterest has the longest lifespan of any social media platform, which is reason enough to spend more time on Pinterest and a share on Google Plus is more valuable than any other social media platform when you put that together you have an unbeatable team. The benefits of using Google Plus and Pinterest together are seemingly endless but here is my list of the top benefits and advantages of using Google Plus and Pinterest together.

Pinterest: Traffic builds after 12:00pm and fades after 5:00pm. With the best times to post being 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 8:00pm to 1:00am. Avoid posting in the late afternoon as much as possible. Saturday morning has the peak traffic for optimum effectiveness.
