My go to place for pho. Just the right portion size, piping hot soup, plenty of seating, and fast turnover. There are other places that excel in richer broth, but with all of the above going for it, this place is definitely the place to get your pho fix.

My Vietnamese friends say there's no real good pho in SF but this place they really like. To me the pho tastes great and they give you a lot of meat compared to the other place across the street (I like the other place too). They also allow you to order small portions which is nice if you don't want a really huge bowl of pho. They also have rice dishes! Service has always been good.

Top 3 pho spots in all of San Francisco. There is always a line out of the door here, but don't worry, it moves quickly. But the line is there for a reason. Appetizers are delicious, the pho is always on point, and they keep 7 Up in stock (NOT Sprite)!

I am here to extoll the glory that is Kevin's sublime beef stew. It is the most consistently complex, well balanced, and satisfying soup I've ever had, bar none. While the pho here is excellent, I no longer order it because the stew is simply that good. It always contains generous portions of tender, long-stewed beef (likely a round cut), carrots, rice noodles, and is accompanied by the standard basil, jalapeños, and bean sprouts. The joint is always busy, and during lunch and dinner you will likely have to wait, but no worries; there are plenty of tables and the turnover is brisk. Service is adequate, and your order will come out within five minutes, regardless of how many people are in there. It's one of those places where you'd like to branch out and try new items, but when the stew's this good, you know you'd be missing out. It's a happy dilemma.

Second favorite Vietnamese place in the city! I grew up eating at Kevin's Noodle House #1 in Oakland (even before it was named Kevin's), so there's always a special place in my heart for this noodle house. Their pho is delicious, but I prefer their egg noodles, which are also really good. We almost always order the imperial (egg) rolls too, cooked perfectly crunchy! This would be my second choice when Yummy Yummy is closed. I definitely prefer this place over PPQ across the street. Parking is a bit of a pain around the area.

3.5 Pretty solid Pho here for it being SF. I grew up in San Jose, so my Pho benchmark is pretty high. Actually with that being said, this is top tier SF pho. The broth is what distinguishes it from other SF spots. The rice plates here are standard. The pork chops are well seasoned and the fish sauce is pretty good. Service here is quick and efficient. It does get pretty busy because of its location and parking can be a disaster. If you are looking for good pho within the city limits, this is probably your best shot. Authentic and reasonably priced!

Decent Vietnamese food with many Vietnamese staples, though not my favorite in the city. Serves a wide menu, including pho, vermicelli, and rice plates. Pretty fast and clean, and always packed (which is always a good sign!)

Delicious, authentic Vietnamese food! I just got back from vacation in Vietnam 2 months ago and was craving some authentic pho. Got a bowl of beef pho and chicken pho - both were incredible! Some of the best phone I've had in SF, perhaps THE best. Can't wait to go back for more.
