I created a Collection for my Black and White photos. This collection will be mainly places, landscapes, objects and so on. No people. It is time consuming to retroactively add old photos/posts to a collection one by one and I only added a few so far. Will probably make a couple of other collections when I have time. This will likely be the largest one as most of my images are not in colour.

Pretty sure thanks to #Carhartt & #JasonMomoa, a lot of guys are going to get Carhartts under the tree in a week and won't know why. :)

This was a good little movie and while it doesn't disclose itself as an ad till the end, it wasn't a gotcha moment. I am sure Jason will show it to his kids when he is older too. Good looking family and it was really nicely done.

How can you do a key word or tag search with results limited to only your own profile. I am looking for a specific post from about 4years ago and infinite scrolling isn't getting me anywhere quick.

John McCrae's in Flanders Fields - recited by Leonard Cohen who passed away yesterday at the age of 82.

In Flanders fields the poppies grow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

John McCrae

Highschool in Indiana launches high altitude balloon.
One of the neater nerdy things with amateur radio is doing high altitude balloon launches - like this one from a high school in Indiana. Automatic position reporting system signals like this can be decoded and tracked on a radio and ported into a computer to be displayed. You can grab the telemetry from the package being sent up like altitude, wind speed, temp and so on as well.

The temp sensor might not be working right given it shows -230F at the moment. Shouldn't be that cold at 8000 M.
